Putting together the garment rack took a moment but it's pretty straight forward. Like the title says, do not unpack the poles from the bags. The bags are labeled! And they are similarly looking enough that it'll be a headache to differentiate. If you have finger mobility issues or hand grip strength issues, please ask someone to help you. There are small tools and small brackets that you have to turn. Onto the rack itself, it's stable if you tighten properly. However, if you have a lot of heavier clothes on the top rack, it tends to lean and fall while mobile so be careful. The wheels work well, there are small brackets you can flip to make the wheels immobile. My only issue: The space between the two hanging poles is narrow, you have to stagger your clothing hangers if your clothes are bulkier than a light cardigan or if you intend to put a lot of clothes on the rack. I intend to use it for a different reason but I tested it with clothes from my closet, ranging from summer blouses to winter coats. One rack can comfortably fit 10 bulky winter jackets with ease. Any more than that and it looks a little cramped. 15-20 sweaters. 30+ blouses, shirts, etc. If you are a tall, maxi dress person, the bottom hem will most likely touch the floor, you'll have to fold the dress in half on the hanger. One, the instructions and labeling of the parts was pretty clear, it was fairly easy to assemble. It is sturdy for the price. This replaced an older one which cost about the same but was less sturdy and Less well designed. One hint is not tighten down the screws. Until it is fully assembled because it does matter for right and left parts and this way, you can switch the left and right sides so that it all matches perfectly. ... show more

Pros: functional, nice rack. Holds weight. Easy assembly instructions Cons: toppled over when it got a little windy so not very sturdy. Lots of assembly piecesvl screws etc I would pay extra and I would get a more sturdy one.

I used these (I had 3) during a renovation. They take about 30 minutes each to put together. Not too bad and the instructions are easy to follow. The wheels are small and do not roll well. The rack is also off balance if you try to roll it alone (definitely have someone move the other end for stability). I put what I seem to be an acceptable amount of clothes on each rack and all of the racks (primarily the higher rack) bowed. The rack is a bit narrow to accommodate full size hangers/garments without interference and the shoe rack on the bottom isn’t really designed to accommodate shoes (maybe shoes in boxes would be better). This was fine for short term use but I would not recommend it for long term use based on it’s stability and durability. ... show more

I needed extra storage for my clothes and this is working out just fine. When I hung my clothes on the shorter rack, I understood what the complaints were about regarding the lack of space in between both racks, but when I slightly turned the clothes on the top rack to the side (like in the stock photo) everything worked out. It may be sturdy enough to move around, but I don't really trust it because it wobbles when I try to roll it, so I've ended up picking it up as a precaution. All in all, I recommend it. ... show more

I live in a small studio and needed a clothing solution. I worried about buying this rack because I’m a plus sized woman who lives in New England. My clothes are large and the weight of them can be challenging. This rack does hold my clothes, but as you can see in the pictures, they warp the structure. Also the width of my clothing does create a crowding situation. My long dresses touch the floor on this rack. With my meager budget, it will have to do for now. If you have the money and have similar concerns, you might want to look for a sturdier rack. Many people use this to store baby/children’s clothes. I don’t have kids, but I would be worried if kids decided to play on this thing. It won’t stand up to rough housing, which kids might be tempted to do on this. I would. I put this together myself. It took me about 45 minutes. I did have to undo a base component that I attached the wrong direction but I managed it. This is not the kind of unit you could take down and reassemble if you wanted to use it for business or travel. It’s weaker each time you reassemble.
