I love that this product is so easy to use. We are living in an RV while building a new home. We needed something to cover one of our windows that gets a lot of direct sunlight. I cut a piece of cardboard to fit window and covered it with this product. Secured it with silver tape. Worked perfectly!! I would recommend this ... show more

I am very happy and my family are too on the way this double bubble insulation is working. We don't use our fireplace and I had a sheet over the opening of the fireplace to keep the draft out. But the sheet wasn't working out. When our weather was hot our family room was hot and when it was cold it was cold. So I came across the insulation I decided to purchase it. I used the Gorilla double sided mounting tape and taped the insulation on a 25" x 17" cardboard to the insulation wrap. Next, I wanted to be creative and found some holographic wrapping paper and taped it to the cardboard. The next step I did was taping extra strength velcro along the top and bottom of the insulation and taping the whole thing over the opening of the fireplace. The whole project took me two in half hours because I had to measure everything and wanted to make sure everything was done right. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! My wife got the 48 in X 10 Ft roll for the windshield of our RV which is about 46 inches x 9 feet. We had an external windshield cover made of a black mesh material but it did little to keep the front cool as the windshield faces the morning sun. I was able to easily place the foil insulation between the above mentioned black fabric screen and the glass. In all cases, it is best to place the foil on the outside of the window. The idea is to keep the heat out, so the closer it is to the sun, the better. This isn't the light weight stuff that wrinkles and tears easily. It really is quite tough. You will need a good pair of scissors to cut it! Some windows, such as double pane glass, state to not put any reflective or heat reflective on the inside of the glass, so be sure to check before installing products like this. ... show more
