When on Bluetooth there is the ability to use an equalizer and also turn off the on/off jingle. I especially like that the lights don't stay on but a few seconds. A speaker of this size and cost usually have "muddy" sound with "loose" bass, and it generally does not perform well in the mid- and high-range frequencies. This speaker offers a sound profile that is well-balanced. The sound quality is very good, featuring tightly controlled bass, clear and distinct toms, and the ability to discern each nuance. The controls are easy to use and straightforward. A micro SD card or USB device can can be inserted, allowing you to play your playlist. For optimal pairing, it is best to power on the secondary speaker first, followed by pressing the TWS button. Next, approach the main speaker and activate the TWS button. Also, they quickly reconnect automaticly when you power them off for the day and then turn them back on the next day. Powering the secondary before the primary is the most effective approach. The secondary will replicate the primary's behavior. Reducing the volume of the primary device leads will decrease in the volume of the secondary device. When the primary is turned off, the secondary will also turn off. In my 1800 sq ft. shop, I have two units that effectively fill the space with a vibrant and crystal-clear sound. The only mild issue I have is the sound stage has a somewhat narrow spread. I am purchasing a third one for my home. I'm totally satisfied with this bad boy. Keep in mind before you buy it that you can't connect to it with Bluetooth if the line in is connected. You can't even pair with it if your line in is connected to something so line in has priority over BT. It would be nice to toggle between the two. The sound is amazing and it replaced a small Dell monitor sound bar that attached to the bottom of the monitor. I was thinking of getting a used BOSE Wave radio as their sound is great. But this is just as good and it's portable with it's 16-18 hour battery, can connect to anyone's BT sound source or get wired with a stereo mini jack. It's heavy and exudes quality and the sound is great with a very wide freq. response 45 Hz to 25kHz. JUST BUY IT! ... show more

The sound & volume of this speaker are incredible. I just plugged it in, connected my iPad to it in less than a minute & then turned the music on. Wow! Deep bass & incredible separation of other instruments and voices. I put on a tracks in a various genres - classical, rock, bluegrass, folk, finger-style guitar, and country - none of them disappointed. Tracks recorded in the 60s aren’t as good as those from this millennia, but that’s not the speaker’s fault. The sound was good with all of them. In bluegrass, it sounded like the banjo was in the room with me. Now I have to prevent myself from buying one for every other room in my house. ... show more
