I got codes C0253, C0265, C0225 and C0221 all at the same time on my 2002 Tahoe 5.3L JC5 build number. The ABS and Park Brake lights illuminated. Since I had replaced both front hubs a couple of years ago, I tested one and it was generating the specified voltage, so I assumed that the other one was also good, and to replace the EBCM. Also, for all four codes to pop at once, was suspicious. I ordered this unit and it arrived exactly as projected. After install, all lights were off at first startup. Well worth the price!! The box says there is a core charge, but no instructions of who to contact. Dorman said it is through Amazon, but I can't find the info. Will research ... show more
