    • Great product, I just wish there were more settings
These are installed under our kitchen cabinets and have been for a couple of weeks. The motion detect is quick and accurate as far as I can tell. The settings are on, off, motion detect during only dusk hours, and motion detect always. Our kitchen isn't naturally well-lit, at both settings have the lights turn on all day long. I wish there was an "always on after dusk" setting as this is what I would choose. I also wish there was a way to sync multiple bars to one another so they could all come on instead of individually, but at this price point, I understand that is a more advanced feature. It would also be cool if we could select longer than 20 seconds for the bars to be on after motion is detected, but again, with the price point, I can't complain. The box suggests charging might be needed every other month; I've yet to charge them and have had them in use for 2-3 weeks now with the charge they came with out of the box. Install was super quick and simple, peel a couple of stickers off the back of the magnetic strips, place the strips on the light bars, and stick where desired - so far I've noticed no movement and the adhesive strips seem plenty strong for the use (these are very light weight). Overall, I'd purchase more if the need arises as these are functional and aesthetically pleasing, but I might also consider a higher price point for some features these don't include. ... show more

Doopa Under Cabinet LED Motion Sensor Cabinet Light (7000K) 5/12/2023 Day 2 Impressions This includes instructions, a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge it with, and four metal plates with adhesive on one side if you need to install it in a spot that isn't magnetic. It is reasonably light weight, and has a ridge to keep the metal plates it comes with in place once magnetized. The metal plates with adhesive were easy enough to install, and I left them stuck without the light attached for ~12 hours before I put the light up. It's easy to place and remove once the stickers are installed. There are enough of these for 2 installations, so I installed them above the cutting board on the underside of my top cabinet, and also inside a cabinet. The brightness sensor keeps it unlit when the cabinet door is closed, and the movement sensor immediately turns it on when the door opens. The automatic sensor is a bit too easy to trigger when I have it above the cutting board, so I think I might just use the switch there - it does turn off automatically and on when there's motion, but it detects motion on both sides of the counter, and I only need the light on one. It's variable dimmable, not just one or two settings, you press and hold and it cycles from brightest to darkest then press and hold again to go from darkest to brightest and you can let go at the setting you want. The brightest setting is really bright. I find the dimmest setting good enough, so I'll probably leave it there most of the time to extend how long I can use it before charging. Overall it's working well, and I expect that to continue. I'll update with any changes from long term use. ... show more

These work great, and the motion detection seems to work extremely well. I haven't had to charge them yet and have had them a few weeks, so the battery life seems very respectable so far. I also LOVE that they're magnetic, I was able to pop one onto my railing coming down my stairs so I don't fall down the stairs at night. That being said, even though they are adjustable, they are SO bright. I imagine those wanting a motion sensor are avoiding having to feel around in the *dark*, and when these come on in the dark, they are almost blinding even on the lowest setting. It's a shame you can't turn them down more. So other than being blindingly bright, (I mean hey maybe that's what you want), they are really nice lights. ... show more
