the record plays fine in sides A,B,C,D and G, sides E and H had some skips, and side F had a lot of skip, my record player is not the best and i use the penny trick to reduce some skips, so most if not all of my records plays nicely with it, this one had some issues, if i added another penny it might have stopped the skips. overall I'm happy with it. ... show more

    • This is a masterpiece!
This record is one of the best four pieces of vinyl that I own. It lists none of the songs or artists or anything. It's just all black, with the Def Jam logo on the back. However the 180g vinyl is of the highest quality & has the most beautiful sound. It hits way different than on Spotify. I literally got it for 21 bucks cuz Ye called out the wrong community and everyone was massively discounting his products. Such a win! ... show more

    • Good album but the track list is all messed up
First of all the album is great there is some good songs in there like moon and hurricane but the track list is messed up the cover is boring black.

    • Good product, bad delivery
Record is great, but they packaging was awful. Instead of using a tight package to secure it, it was in a box that was way too big with only a tiny bit of bubble wrap thrown is. The product was dented and had some rips. This did not damage the record, but the sleeve as in bad shape. I would definitely recommend the record, just get it from somewhere else, where you can check out the product yourself before buying it. ... show more

I recall when Kanye West emerged in the fall of 2003 with "Through the Wire". I didn't think much of him at the time. It took many years for him to sell me on his music, but eventually I came around about the time he released "808's & Heartbreak" in 2008. Since that time, I have bought up all of his albums, and I'd say his career has definitely been uneven. I think his last decent album was 2013's "Yeezus". After that? Well.... "Donda" has too many problems to be a classic Kanye West album. First off, 27 tracks is excessive. This dilutes the power of the good songs buried within this album. If he had just stuck with the golden rule of less is more, "Donda" might have been received more positively. I counted 12 tracks that should have made up the album. They are: 1. Jail 2. God Breathed 3. Off the Grid 4. Hurricane 5. Praise God 6. Ok Ok 7. Junya 8. Believe What I Say 9. Moon 10. Jesus Lord 11. Lord I Need You The rest of the tracks are either middling or pointless. In fact, he did not need to tack an extra 22 minutes onto an already long album by having four songs recur at the very end of it. So, one star subtracted for giving us an overly long bloated disorganized sprawling album. The next issue is that there aren't really any memorable songs here. There's nothing here that grabs you and keeps running through your brain. The songs I listed above are good, but not great. Additionally, most of the songs only make sense sporadically. The lyrics here are all over the place, and most of the time their were brief passages that registered and made sense. Much of what's on here is Kanye West's personal thoughts about things he thinks about using his mindset and language. This means he shut out most of us in terms of identifying with what he is rapping about. So, for me, Kanye's last four albums, "Donda", "Jesus is King", "Ye" and to a lesser extent, "The Life of Pablo" have either been too short or too long, unfocused, bizarre, or aloof to the point where they haven't made much of an emotional impact. Sure, there's been a track here or there on them, but overall, not his best work. And so we wait......     • Absolute banger worth every penny
The media could not be loaded. I don’t even know where to start with this review this album just showcases the artistic mind and capabilities of Kanye West that words cannot express. Of course, music is subjective but if you’re debating whether or not to pull the trigger on buying this album, I personally say go for it. What came in the mail for me was an album with excellent pressing and sound quality so beautiful, clear, and eargasmic it should be illegal as showcased in the video (yes that’s how the record sounds! it doesn’t skip it’s just instagram recorded the audio the best and i had to edit the vids together) 10/10 would definitely recommend buying :) ... show more

    • My favorite Ye album since Graduation
Top tier album. The production has some of Ye's best work yet. The features really did a great job as well, and the whole thing was very refreshing. I was disappointed that it's censored though. I would have rather he just made a clean album without curses instead of just censoring the verses. For example, the Andre 3000 verse was completely butchered with loud beeps that just take you out of the experience. But even with these caveats, I really enjoyed it. ... show more
