It is a good solid bed. The only complaint I have is some of the slats on the slat kit were a little short and caused the wood to split out along the rail in some places.

I purchased this bed for my 3 year old a few weeks ago. It wasnt until his dad was in midway assembly that we noticed a piece was broken off one of the rails in a very critical place. Its cheaply made and I'm not satisfied. It would be even more of a hassle to disassemble and return, as we're trying to get the nursery ready for our baby on the way in 3months. I wish I could take it all down and throw it away. But, there goes my money too. Also, the wood parts were not the same color. Not very uniformed. I don't know what we will do with this bunk bed in the near future. My son doesn't weigh much now... But he can't grow any heavier. I'm afraid it will collapse in him. I'm also afraid to sleep with him at night to get him adjusted to such a bigger bed (coming from a toddler size). Even though together we would still be under the weight limit (Im only 135lbs), I'm still nervous about adding any more weight. I'm not happy. And it just added more stress to my motherhood...smh. ... show more

I bought this bunkbed set so, I didnt have to buy two separate beds for my kids. I put the bottom half in my sond room since he is older. The top half with rails I out in my girls room do they dont roll off the bed at night. They both love it.

Great deal. Took 2 people to put together and some of the screws were pretty tight and tough to tighten but worth the time. Plenty of slates in the second box so anyone saying they didn't have enough needs to look for the second box.

    • Overall a pretty good bed, just have some patience for assembly!
The bed came packaged very well, with no broken or missing pieces. As stated in a previous review, none of the pieces are labeled so it took a little bit for us to sort them out and get them in the right spot. It wasn't that difficult to assemble and took us a little less than 2 hours. I would've given it 5 stars but the pieces weren't labeled, the ladder is to hard for my 4 yr old to climb (she uses the slide to get up and down), and we had to file the white part of the slide down so it would fit on the bed. ... show more
