Putting this bed together was a bit time consuming given there's not a single preassembled element (except for the mattress slats) but the manual with assembly steps was very clear, all parts/nails/screws present and clearly marked, and the overall quality of the materials was very good. Imagine a wooden Lego set on steroids - tons of fun for people loving DIY projects. The assembled bed is really nice. All parts fit perfectly, finished and painted with no noticed flaws. What we liked was that the book shelf and the chest of drawers are not integrated into the frame and can be placed somewhere else in the room for a complete bedroom look. If you prefer to have more compact layout just place them like in picture above. Desk glides in and out smoothly, and we have a medium thick carpet, so the little wheels are coping. The only little weak point we have noticed so far (after 1 week of use) is that the top step of the ladder started looking worn already with paint peeling off. Given that it will be the high use surface it might be necessary to enforce it with some sort of padding/tape. All in all very happy with the purchase and price/quality ratio ... show more

My daughter absolutely adores this bed. Great buy for the value ($500 when we bought it). The surface can scratch a little easy when assembling so be careful. It took both my partner and I to put together the loft, but I did the rest myself. Took about 6-7 hours for everything The loft is sturdy and could hold me (190LBS). The desk rolls out really smooth and easy for my daughter to use (4 years old). The shelf set seems pretty sturdy - we have books and games on them The chest of drawers is the cheapest part. They looks nice on the outside, but the inside of the drawers are made with typical particle board, so try not to stuff them with to many heavy items. All in all a good deal and purchase for a $500 bed with so many add-ons. ... show more

Ordered this bed for my about to turn 6 year old daughter. I love the Jr loft design and how everything that comes with it tucks neatly underneath if you want it to. My daughter loves that the underneath is like her little chill out cave. The bed was time consuming to put together and it took two adults. The instructions were very easy, we just took our time as to avoid making any mistakes. The items arrived in several different boxes and they were all packaged well with no damage to any of the pieces or missing parts. All pre-drilled holes were where they were supposed to be. We love the grey paint color. The only two things we have noticed that we don’t like are that the paint has a strong smell that after a few months is still present even though it has dissipated a lot, and the bed is very squeaky where the ladder is installed because I think it rubs somehow and I cannot seem to locate the exact spot in order to fix it. Also the 3 drawer dresser it comes with is kind of flimsy and cheap but it doesn’t look it, so that’s ok. Over all we are pleased with this purchase and my daughter loves her new “big girl bed”. I love this loft bed! It is perfect for my soon to be 6 year old. I assembled Everything by myself. The bed took about 2 hours. The desk took about a hour and was easy to attach to the bed. I’m choosing to leave the desk out the whole time so I converted the underside of her bed into a lounge area. The bed is very sturdy. I climb up there to change the sheets and it doesn’t wobble or anything (I’m 190lbs). I put the bookcase that comes with it on the other side of the room (next to this 4 drawer dresser I got off Amazon that matched perfectlyyyyy). The dresser that comes with it, I slid It under the bed. It still leaves plenty of space for lounging. Overall: a great buy. ... show more

I loved it when I first got it. It was easy enough for me to assemble by myself (although 2 people would be handy). However, 1 year later, I am really disappointed. The drawers have broken several times, the roll out desk broke about 6 months ago, and now the bed is broken. My 9 year old was on it when it collapsed. He isn't gentle with furniture, but he is 9 years old and 60 lbs so I would expect it to be safer. ... show more

Not sure if I’d recommend this or not.... assembly was a huge pain. Bought 2 of these, one is pretty stable, the other one is not. Based on the bed that’s not, I’d Torah not recommend this. But based on the bed that is, I’m happy w it. So weird. The bed that’s not stable is falling apart and it hasn’t even been a full year, and my daughter hardly sleeps in her bed. Too much money for that to happen. My older child sleeps in the sturdy bed and that one I’m happy with. ... show more

This is literally the PERFECT bed for my toddler. It's not to high off the ground, its sturdy and has the perfect amount of storage. I received it 4 days sooner than expected so that was a very pleasant surprise! The dresser and book shelf is not tipsy so it will NOT fall over! I decided to leave the desk out for now because my daughter likes to play under the bed with her stuffed animals 😍❤ Their were no damaged or scratched pieces, and it was very well packaged.. it came in 4 different boxes (that were kinnda heavy) and the instructions were a little hard to comprehend but once you start building it,it gets easier.
