I should've trusted the reviews! I ordered my actual size, and it was a bit too snug on my waist but the cups seemed ideal! Sized down a cup, up a band size and it was perfect! If you're a person who has even a little bit of a midsection, this WILL create a 'muffintop' sort of effect. If you have shapewear underwear, this in no way will be a problem. I found the shape of this bra to be extremely flattering. If you're unfamiliar with wearing shapewear, this bra may be difficult for you to wear if you're not used to that tad bit of uncomfortability. It's not necessarily uncomfortable when you're standing up, but I found if I wanted to sit down on the floor and relax, I just couldn't find a comfortable sitting position. It was either stand up, or sit in a chair. If you're a bustier woman, this will slide down. Not all at once, but if you're dancing and such or moving around a lot, don't be surprised! I bought this with some breast tape for a cosplay, and although I have yet to try it, I definently feel this will be the sort of security I need! All in all;; I think this is a great occasional bra. Whether that be a photoshoot, wedding, going out for a date, etc;; but I definently don't think this is an everyday bra! But I mean if I had a bra with this flattering of a shape that was a tad bit more comfortable, this could be an everyday bra for me EASILY! ... show more

I normally wear a 38C. I ordered this in a 40C. The band at the waist fit well but the cups were huge and shapeless. I'm considering ordering it in a 40 A or B, but I think the cups may be too pointed-looking. Dominiques more expensive longline backless bra, about $61.00, is much nicer-looking and has better-shaped cups. ... show more

The right fit of this bustier really depends of you waist measurement. I usually wore 36D bras in most brands so I bought this bustier in 36D. It happened to be to snug on my waist , which is 30" but the cups looked underfilled. So, I passed it to my daughter , who is 36DD but has smaller waist -27.5" and it looks perfect on her to the point, she decided to use it like strapless tank top with little bolero jacket. For myself I decided to go with 38C, therefore I went up with band size and down with the cup size. So, girls measure your waist. ... show more

Cups run big as opposed to waist size, I’m normally a 36/38 D, I followed what people said and ordered a 40c, cups are still a little too big, but it works so I’m not returning.

I’m a 38-40 D and I decided to order a 38 C per the reviews. I should have ordered the 40 instead because it’s very tight, and I’m using the first clasps. It’s easier if someone helps you put it on, because on your own you kinda have to wrestle with it. The cups are definitely larger and there’s a bit of a gap but nothing too drastic. The look is indeed pointy but I think that looks better that saggy and squashed boobs. I weigh 175 pounds 5’6 height if that helps. ... show more
