This ramp is very sturdy and the intermediate steps make it easy for my 14 year old golden to exit the car. Tha carpet also gives it better grip. To get him in the car he still needs some incentives, but that is more him, not the ramp. I would highly recommend

Very lightweight and easy to use. Didn’t take the dogs long to get used. Only criticism, and minor at that, is that the carpeting on the unit is a little slippery. It’s light weight and easy to fold so when you’re able to move it quite easily.

I don't usually write reviews, but this ramp is made so well - give credit where it is due! The ones I found at the pet stores were no where near this quality. Even has a handle to carry if needed. Love it. The one minor thing I was going to contact the manufacturer about was that my 8lb dog has a difficult time getting her tiny toe nails to grip the carpet so she sometimes slides, but other than that, I couldn't ask for a better ramp. ... show more

I really liked the sturdy construction and adjustable height. But the rungs were too small and the material too slippery for my old kitty. She could get up no problem. But coming down and she would slide or roll. I decided to send it back. Max height was just about tall enough for my bed.

my 14 year old miniature poodle was starting to limp a little after jumping down from the sofa so I bought her this ramp. in just four days she was going up and back down as long as I put treats on some of the steps. In a few more days I expect her to go up and down without treats. Don't rush your pet. As the ad says, let them get familiar with it lying down first. Then put it up just one notch. My 5 year old 5lbs Pomeranian was unable to use it. At the two highest levels it was just far too steep for her. The product was easy to move, I liked the handle on the side. It seemed sturdy. The slats to provide support along the include for the dog were a bit small. She had a hard time using them to climb. It was more of a climb to her than a walk because of her size. I honestly wish I had bought one sooner. My little dogs can not jump up on my bed nor get off without assistance. As soon as I unpacked this and set it in place they all used it without coaching.
