Granted these are for dog poops-- I bought these anyway for cleaning the buried treasures out of my cat boxes. I find regular plastic bags too big and too much a waste for this job so I wanted something smaller and biodegradable since we do this twice a day. I had previously used diaper bags and they worked pretty well, good size, but not biodegradable. So I tried these. Just a tad too small for cleaning up after busier litter box days or if we skipped a cleaning or two and they're full. My two kitties tend to pee a lot and my boy cat (18bs) makes pretty substantial deposits so these barely fit everything. Not able to really tie closed but still, good amount of bags for the price and will last a while. I don't necessarily mind if I can't tie them. I just hate all the plastic bags that go into the trash can and ultimately into landfill. They're also pretty sturdy, I try to squeeze a lot in and close and so far they don't break. I don't care how they smell either but they do have a light scent which is pretty decent. I mean they're just gonna get filled with poopy and stuff and tossed in the garbage so who cares really how they smell?? LOL ... show more
