Everything is clearly labeled and assembled in under 1 minute. Just used it today for the first time and cut my yard clean up time in half or better. So easy to use. Picked up after a Border Collie and a Great Pyrenese and everything fit in one bin nicely. It was easy to remove the bag. Part of me wishes the bin was made out of something more sturdy and not plastic. But it seems sturdy and it is very lightweight the way it is. So I'm happy. ... show more

This is a great design! Easy to put together, easy to use, easy to store! I've seen some bad ratings, but I'm telling you this is a game changer! A great invention! Not much effort nor strength is needed for assembly, just line up the little push pins, insert, and you may have to twist just a bit to get the pins to pop out and lock. Then you simply put a bag in, twist the edge around to tighten the bag like you would a small trash can, then wrap the edge of the bag around the little bag grabber. It doesn't take a lot of strength to wrap it, and as long as that bag is bunched up just a bit, it's thick enough to stay in place! The bags that come with it are sturdy enough to hold the dogs gifts AND the rocks in my yard that those gifts are sometimes stuck to. I am positive grocery bags would be easy to use as well. When you lift the bucket by the handle it slightly raises off the bin. From that point it takes just a small out of pressure with your foot to position the bin for use. When done just give that bin a little pressure and it folds back into place. You don't need to use all your strength - I'm sure that would bend or break the plastic arms. I appreciate that the handles are long and not wood; I tired of splinters from older handles long ago. I can't attest to whether or not it keeps the smell at bay because I pick up and dispose the bag into my small metal trash can immediately (its a smaller version of a large metal yard cans). This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! My advice? Buy it! Save your back! Don't strong arm it and it will work perfectly! ... show more

I prefer this over the claw type scoops because the mess doesn’t get caught in the jaws. The bucket idea is great and it comes with small bags that fit. My only issue is the bucket doesn’t always want to remain closed when I lean it up against the wall. Minor issue which doesn’t affect the use.

    • The BEST Clean-Up Tool I’ve ever used…

I’m 72-years old, and have to use a cane or walker to get around. My Bride of 52-years and I have TWO Extremely Needy/Spoiled Chihuahuas. ( Completely and Totally her fault..) I was looking for a better way to clean the yard without the constant bending over to accomplish the job. After looking at all of the various models and designs available on the market, I chose to try this particular unit. I am more than Pleased with my choice.. It was very simple to put together (just push-n-lock the handles together, for both the Rake and the Swivel Bin).. It has a nice Heavy-Coat of paint on the Steel Handles, and the Swivel Bin is made with a nice quality Plastic, making the entire Unit very lightweight (around 2-lbs)… Both the Rake and Bin also have nice rubber/plastic handles with built-in eyes for hanging on a hook, if so desired. I personally chose to keep ours standing along the back wall of our garage on the paver walkway, which allows the Odor-Blocking Lid to prevent drawing any unwanted flys, etc. While not pictured, or even mentioned, I also like the simple little (included) attachment that slides over the Bin Handle (when putting it together) that allows you to easily snap the Rake to the Bin, for storage or simpler transport. (They even pre-drilled large holes in the bottom of the Bin, to simplify the bag installation...) While it comes with 20-Waste Bags, I have a supply of heavy-duty plastic bags (similar to the Walmart or LOWE’s style) and they work great , due to the simple attachment they built into the Bin.. While this might sound a little disturbing to admit; It’s almost a joy to keep our yard clean now… No more bending over to accomplish what I can now do by just walking around, and changing out the bags every couple of days is a simple task in and of itself… I really appreciate the Rake design; the wide tongs make it simple to use to clean up both the solid, or the not-so-solid stools.. I think MXF designed and built the perfect tool, at least for our needs…. Thanks to both them and amazon for simplifying our lives by offering this tool, and at a reasonable price of $34.98… I appreciate it so much, I will probably order us a second unit to keep as a BackUp… ... show more

I have 2 big dogs & a small yard. There's no other way around it, need to scoop the poop. Here's my assessment after a few weeks of daily (near daily) use. Pros: -easy to put together -easy to find bags that fit -fits one day's poop in one bag without having to change it -super easy to open/close -has a handy clip on one side where you can wrap the poop bag- so important or else the weight of the poop will make the bag sink into the container & you'll have to fish around with your fingers to remove it -has attachment for the rake -the rake works GREAT! Cons: -still have to use nitrile gloves to bind the bag around the clip because you will still touch poop when changing the bag or wrapping around the clip -occasionally the pooper scooper gets stuck- not a big deal, just give it a slight kick w/ your foot Overall - I absolutely love this product & don't know what I would do without it. I'm not bending down picking up individual poop every time. What I usually do is dump the dirty bags inside a small trash can that has a foot lever & hides behind the A/C fence. Then the morning of trash day I take entire bag filled with poo bags to the trash can while it's on the curb. (I don't want the smell in my garage).
