This thing works! Dog isn't a huge fan and gives me the sad face when I clean her paws but being a Australian shepherd/border Collie mix she is a fuzz ball and will track in mud from the back yard. My dog is about 55lbs and medium sized and the this does the trick for her 98% of the time. Sometimes I'll need to dump, rinse, and add fresh water after a couple paws if it's extra muddy out. The only time I thought I might have needed the larger sized one was when I caught her digging after a gopher as she had mud up her legs in addition to her paws. I definitely recommend for any dogs with furry paws! Unit is easy to clean as well.
