This was a dog pen for my dog and her 3 pups. The first day she got out of it over 5 times. I used a lot more anchors and she still is tearing holes in the fence. Other reviewers stated that it's not very sturdy... that may be true if you're trying to contain a ~60 lbs energetic doggo, but for a few egg heads, it lets them know where their home is and keeps them safe from the rain. Assembly takes some time and is pretty straightforward. The instructions are followable and common sense and prior experience with putting things together make this fairly easy. The directions suggest using the self tapping screws to secure the shackles to the tubes while you're assembling, however I would advise against that; put the whole thing together using just the shackle clamps and tubes, situate it where it's going to be and whoozle it around a bit to ensure everything is good and settled, and then consider adding the self tapping screws to lock everything in place. The tarp top doesn't fit quite square, at least not for me, and it's a fairly low quality tarp that probably won't last a year. Honestly a little bit overpriced for what it is, but it arrives and goes up and does what it is supposed to do. Take care when assembling the door rectangle to maximize the size and keep everything nice and square, also the hinges can be set so they're biased to self-close or self open. Lots of ways to kinda "tune" this thing, all around. You could fiddle with it as much as you care to! (assuming you don't put in the self tapping screws during assembly) ... show more

Dogs actually broke the links, pulled it from the rod and escaped. Kennel was strong enough to remain in the ground, links at corner weren't. Definitely not good as they killed my neighbor's chickens; which is why they needed to be contained while @ work. They are young, like to chase anything that runs so it was a case of chasing something rather than killing something. It doesn’t come with enough ties to keep the fence itself from falling or to keep the dogs from getting out. Had to purchase some zip ties to keep it together. The latch on the gate is a little difficult at times. I think it should be cheaper for the quality but it does its job.

Less than 24 hours of putting it up and putting the dogs in it they chewed a hole and was out running around. I don't recommend buying this unless your dogs don't have teeth.

Frame went together easy. The chain link fence was a nightmare. The top and bottom became tangled and hooked together. It took a half day to get it apart and it was so bent it looks terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

This is my 3rd kennel of this type. They are easy to put together and hold up well. This type of kennel is durable and can be disassembled if you need to move and can be configured to your needs.

Now, as far as quality goes, this kennel is lighter that the weight of the box would have you to believe. Together, it is very heavy but each individual piece is light. It took me and my dad about an hour to put together. Once together and fully assembled, the manufacturer suggests you anchor it.
