    • Excellent alternative to traditional nail clippers for pets that hate getting their nails clipped!
If your pet shivers, runs & hides or fights to the death just to avoid getting their nails clipped...then try this product! I'm a believer now...it made this chore much easier & less stressful for everyone involved! I actually already have a petipaws but I loved the idea of a rechargeable tool. No more batteries...yay!..which don't work that long nor well for a tool that needs maximum power. That was a big seller for me! This one is especially quiet too which is great because it doesn't scare the dogs as much. The trick is getting them used to the actual filing of the nails. Use treats at first & slowly introduce them to it. Let them smell & investigate it off & then on beforehand. When you're ready to file just start off slow & be mindful not to go down too far! This tool has a light that allows you to see the nail clearly & the quick of the nail so you don't over file! It also has several different filing windows so you can get the perfect angle when filing. Just be careful because certain angles sometimes cause the nail to get sucked in & wedged...if this happens turn it off immediately & slowly pull out the nail so you don't hurt your dog. It has 2 power levels but I only needed the 1st level to get the job done. Very effective & easy to use. The top easily turns off so you can remove it for cleaning...there's a brush included! I am very pleased with this product! The metal file drummel is excellent quality & looks like it will last much longer than my pedipaws sandpaper files! I was able to file both my dog's nails easily without recharging so the power is excellent! There was some file dust so I might suggest doing it outside or over a towel.     • Well worth the money
I usually always have the vet clip my claws because I'm worried about hurting them so far. With this claw file I finally believe in myself, the product works great and is a huge hit with my anxious dogs!

This is easier than I thought it would be to use.It's pretty quiet and a very fast speed.I'm a new puppy owner and she allows me to use it on her .We are both a little scared but this gets the job done well.Her nails are black so it was always hard to see this one is awesome I dont have be afraid to hurt my little one ... show more

This battery operated nail file is so quiet my shih tzu starts yawning as soon as I start filing her nails. Lol the first picture is her yawning. The built in light is nice and bright and has a separate button. My dog really doesn’t like the nail clipper so I have been filing her nails about once a week to keep them short.     • How to purchase a replacement bit?
Great for trimming the toenails of my dogs! Very quiet! Maybe my 11 lb terrier has very strong nails as the bit has already worn out! I would add two stars if I can get replacement for the bit and perhaps a better quality bit!
