What drew me to this one was 1) it's not black so it wouldn't get as hot, 2) it's a quilted, reinforced material to last longer, 3) optional sides to protect my doors and be more comfortable for my dog to sleep against, and 4) the mesh for better air flow. It lived up to all these expectations and more! I drive a Chevy Cruze with leather seats, and this fit in just fine. It was a smidge big (so it could easily fit larger vehicles), but that wasn't a concern because my dog is pretty chill in the car. Any time I take him somewhere, he's very comfortable and - most importantly - cools down faster than when I had the other hammock, thanks to the mesh. Last [unexpected] perk of this thing - groceries! If I have loose items, I put up the sides so I never have to worry about opening the doors and items falling out. Honestly the quality of this product really impressed me. I have a 2014 Fiat 500L and this is the third seat cover I’ve purchased for my car, and it’s also the cheapest! The first cover I purchased from Petsmart and spent $70 on, and my second one I purchased off of amazon for $50. I owned both for a year before needing to replace them due to wear and tear from washing and use. Here is what I have to say about this one: -The quality of this product is far better than any of the ones I’ve owned and it really is waterproof, slide proof, and easy to clean. -I also really like how it has zippers on the corners so you can zip them up to ensure no hair gets into the car and it also protects your doors from scratches. -The mesh is a durable material and isn’t one that is going to be easily damaged. My dog likes that he can still see me and see what’s going on which makes the car ride better for both of us. This is a feature I didn’t have on my other two seat covers and I didn’t realize how nice this feature was to have until now. - I removed the seat cover after my first 3hr car drive with my dog and for the first time I didn’t see any hair on my seats. I used a small washcloth to wipe the seat cover off and it looks like it was never used. Was very pleased with this backseat hammock for my dog. Seems very well made and was easy to install. I use it in conjunction with a harness in a seatbelt tether. Very pleased with its performance so far.

    • Great way to protect your seats
I dropped on star because the material is slippery for the dog. It is extremely durable and well made. I like that I can protect the doors and clip on to the handles on the roof. It is a bit awkward when moving the seats up in down in my SUV. I leave it hooked to the front seats and just undo the back seats. It covers most of the back of my crv when the seats are down. The screen is great for small dogs to be able to see. I have a large dog, so seeing isn't a problem. Fitting on the seat is a bit tricky, but the cover protects her from falling on the floor. ... show more

    • Exactly what I wanted.
I have a 2020 Honda Accord. The only issue I had with this is that my car didn’t have the correct hook points for it to work but I made it work and everything was ok in the end. This seat cover is good though. This seat cover is super easy to set up. I thought this thing was going to be too thin for my liking but when I felt the canvas material and thickness of this I knew it was going to be tough for my dog to rip this up. It’s big for sure but the straps all came with adjustments on them to make it fit tighter. Looks just like the pictures. ... show more

We moved from Florida to Washington state and this item was amazing! We have 2 dogs that are larger one 55lbs and one 70lbs. It held up to both of the dogs and the dogs loved it. It gave them a sense of security by keeping them safely in, giving them extra room and they loved the mesh opening so that they got good air flow. It was wonderful at protecting our car seat as well.
