    • The heat sneaks up on you, but it works well
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a $66 heated vest but this thing works well. I'll plug in the pack and usually turn it on high, because I'm expecting to be colder than I actually will be, put on my other coat, and within a few minutes, I'm sweating. I do imagine that my coat I'm wearing over it is a help, as it's keeping the heat in, but I can still feel it doing it's job, regardless of setting. I actually had to turn it down to low halfway through use today because I got so hot. Honestly the only grip is the fit, as others have said. I got the largest size I could and it's a little snug. I fit comfortably in XL and 2XL normally and this 2XL vest is snug, but still works and comfortable. If anything, it just means I have to lose weight. It is a bit of a battery killer. I already had a battery pack that holds a lot of juice (4 full charges on a smartphone) and this thing will kill a charge in about 30-45 minutes on high. But I don't use it for long periods of time so that doesn't bother me. But if you want to use it for like fishing trips or something, you might want to think about a large pack like mine or some backups. ... show more

The vest is in great shape, awesome material, light weight, the only thing I’m unhappy with is you have to buy the battery separately. Most come with a battery and I chose the one that didn’t. Just my luck. Will not knowif it works until I purchase the battery
