This watch is great. I bought it to be an exercise and shopping companion. It is a phone, Android tablet, and watch all in one. If you install a QR scanner it processes Walmart Pay at check out and this watch makes SMS, voice, and email a veritable breeze. Instead of lugging a large phone with me while jogging, I have the safety and security of all my communications being right there on my wrist. And, for once, the screen is big enough for my large hands to successfully maneuver the OS. Another nice feature is the weather. DM101 weather lists Celsius and Fahrenheit on the same screen so if you never had the chance to learn both, just pull up the app. The battery life on this watch is tremendous and the CPU processes quickly and smoothly. I've been through almost a dozen different smartwatches and this one is possibly the best... get this, instead of talking to some annoying sales rep and paying outrageous monthly fees, just stick your SIM card in, install the watch software on your tablet, and you'll have a real, working telephone number on your watch in under 15 minutes without having to speak to anybody from the phone company. It is important to understand the apps for this watch are real and full Android apps, the same as your tablet, as opposed to the sparsed up, slimmed down, teenie-tiny featureless apps found on other smartwatches. This means rather than looking for a way to resolve missing attributes or features to your apps on your smartwatch, the full tablet app is right there with you. All except one of my apps installed on this watch... the DM101 is certainly a winner and a keeper. Also, there's a variety of different watch faces included and one with a live screensaver.     • No screen rotation setting in android, Pedometer app not user friendly.

Pedometer doesn't allow you to set it for when you are actually walking if smartwatch is worn all day which makes it nearly useless to accurately track when one is on foot vs. in a car driving. The android OS installed in this smartwatch for some stupid reason, had the screen rotate feature removed and many google play downloaded apps will only appear as a portrait view on the screen, meaning you will only view it upside down if on your left wrist, or upright if on your right wrist. I tried several apps that alleged to help with this to no avail. Needless to say, that unless you plan to use only the apps that came with the watch, or a few downloaded apps that will self-correct into a landscape view, this smartwatch is extremely limited and not real practical.     • Good Camera & Storage but terrible for fitness tracking

This watch has some high points. I purchased it because I'm running the Disney marathon, and the watch has a decent camera as well as 32 GB of storage to add music. Both of those features are great and it also has pretty decent battery life. The watch also has some considerable low points. It claims to be a fitness watch with GPS. It does not accurately measure steps or distance and it can only measure distance in km, which is not very useful in the US. It can't measure my heart rate unless my arm is perfectly still and if I wear a Fitbit, my Fitbit routinely logs twice as many steps, calories, distance, etc as the watch. So, it really does not function as a fitness watch as it claims. Considering it claims to have GPS, the fact that it doesn't accurately log distance is particularly disappointing. All in all, I'm ok with the watch's shortcomings because it holds alot of music and pairs well with Bluetooth headphones. It will also make it much easier to take photos on my run at Disney with characters but it is not and should not be advertised as a fitness watch. If the company wishes to address the fitness issues with the watch, I will be happy to update my review. ... show more

The watch is great.. but I need to purchase a new band/ strap for the DM 101 .. can't find it online..only for similar watches ...the one I purchased was too big and required a pin.... The dm 101 doesn't use a pin .just screws ..how can I purchased a new band/ strap
