This light is great. We installed it in our living room ceiling (wired to power, not to switch) very quickly and I control it with the remote control. It is dimmable which is perfect for different times of day. I definitely recommend this light.

    • Lots of Remote/Wireless Features, but Color and Brightness leave a lot to be desired
Background: I got this to replace a fixture in my kitchen that previously had a 1600 lumen, 4000K bulb--ideally I would have a light that was slightly brighter Installation was easy, and the unit was lightweight enough to install by myself. The included twist-on connectors were way too small for the wire gauge in my home, so I re-used the original ones but if you're doing a new install, this is something you should be aware of. The remote has tons of features, so this would be ideal in the use case where the switch is far from the light needs to be controlled. IIRC there are around 7 brightness and color levels for adjustment, plus the very dim Night Light mode. However, there are a lot of issues with the color temperature and brightness of the fixture given the mixed-color LED design of the fixture: 1. In general, I found that only 1 setting was even close to usable for me--maximum brightness, then 1 click towards the warmer side. 2. Operating at either 3000K or 6000K outputs much less light than the brightest setting which turns on both LEDs to the maximum--if you want this light for either of these settings, know that the light output will be essentially halved especially if you are are looking to use the warmest setting. 3. Color temperature--the 6000K/coolest setting is definitely blue, but the warmest setting is closer to 2700K as it is very, very yellow. The Max Bright mode which is supposed to be 4000K is much more blue than the 4000K bulb it replaces and it feels closer to 4400K. 4. As mentioned before, to get a color closer to the 4000K bulb it replaced, the closest setting was 1 tick warmer from the maximum brightness, however this still resulted in an odd color cast and it felt only minutely brighter than the bulb it replaced. 5. Usable brightness--This is where I think many people will have issues with this particular model. As I mentioned, brightness and color go hand-in-hand--as you make the color warmer or cooler from the max brightness setting, the light output will decrease. I found both the warmest and coolest settings dim to the point of being unusable, and even going 1 tick dimmer from my ideal color setting was unusable as well. Looking back, I'd suggest getting the 30W model (although that one is 3in deeper and less sleek than this model) as you will have more usable brightness settings. But I think the ideal application would be where you primarily want dim lights for ambiance, but then you need to put the full brightness lights on for set-up or clean-up, and the multiple light sync feature would be perfect for this. I ended up getting a single-color switch-dimmable LED fixture, which I suggest is better for most people. ... show more

This light was absolutely terrible!! I don't know how it got so many good reviews. Are they all fake?! We had this professionally installed in our bathroom (which is NOT that big so it should have lit up easily), and it was honestly laughable. It did nothing in lighting up the bathroom - it was incredibly dim. We had a vanity bar light installed that was also 3K lumens and that lit up the bathroom significantly more than this light. There was NO change between 4K and 5K. The actual product itself felt extremely cheap and flimsy. 0 stars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got a couple of these to install in my bedroom. I absolutely like the 2.4GHz wireless remote control. You don't have to have direct line of sight to control the lights. In other words, you don't have to direct the remote control to the device for it work. I can operate the lamp from the living room without problems. Another nice perk is that I can program one remote control to control both fixtures, which is great. ... show more

I ordered three of these lights. Delivered on time, excellent vendor packaging, no damaged units. All necessary mounting hardware including screws for ceiling junction box and wire nuts as well as drywall fasteners for the included wall mounts for the remote. I had angst after reading all of the one star reviews and almost returned without installing. Overall construction is flawless. I like the ease at which the globes can be removed. One reviewer state they drilled a hole to relocate the wiring to the center of the base. This is not necessary as there is sufficient standoff between the base and the ceiling to accommodate the wires from the LED transformer (the Romex wire should be tucked up into the ceiling junction box). The light quality is outstanding. Not overly bright like a lot of LED fixtures. Best lighting quality is achieved with maximum brightness setting as this turns on both white and warm LED's together (personal preference). With this setting the light can be dimmed maintaining both white and warm in unison. Light dispersion by the globe is uniform. Syncing one remote to control all three together was easy.     • Very bright, inexpensive, light fixture
This light is very bright and offers a decent array of brightness/warmth combinations. It is also very light (little weight) and does not require any special mounting brackets. Truth be told, I had it held-up with some command strips for about a day while I decided on placement. Installation is super easy, and the remote works perfectly. The light is "dimmable" with the remote (it has about 5 different light level settings), but it is NOT intended to work with a dimmer switch. It's very inexpensive, so the diffuser cover is a little flimsy, as you might expect, but more than sufficient. The base plate is a pretty solid piece of stamped metal, and the wiring is all well done. ... show more
