I was looking for a good device to use for shooting videos for my youtube channel. I needed better audio than I had and also a better platform. This came recommended from multiple channels as an inexpensive but really good quality camera to use, and I agree. What I really like is the ability to see myself on the small screen and verify that I'm in frame or not for the shot. Shooting myself is really difficult with many cameras because you can't see the shot and take the shot at the same time. This forward facing screen allows for that which is really handy. What I wish it did better is allowing for better battery life and/or charging while using. You have to purchase multiple accessories to go with it to have it wirelessly connect to an external mic, your phone, or get charge and use capabilities. If you're thinking about getting this, going with the creator pack which has those in it already, is worth the additional cost, if you're going to do anything more than shoot 2 - 5 min video clips. For me, my raw video shots are hours long, so having the ability for the battery to not die after a few hours and having to switch to a different camera, is really valuable. Also, with the open box unit I purchased, it didn't come with the cradle which means it's easier to damage the gimble, which I've already done by accidentally dropping it on the floor. I almost returned it when it didn't come with that but I decided to keep it since the open box route can be a bit of a gamble and you're not sure if the replacement unit will be better or worse. In the end, I'm going to purchase the cradle separately so I have that extra safety in place. All in all very happy with the purchase and this unit. ... show more

This compact camera would win the prize. This thing is Nice! Its worth every penny. The camera and recording are on point it performs really well. I spent additional money adding accessories and this has slowly turned into a small hobby for me. I can literally take it anywhere and I do! Seller sent the item UPS Next Day Air. The camera is flawless. The great part about it is, you can still purchase the DJI Care Refresh warranty. If you’re not familiar with the warranty, it can be purchased through the DJI website for $49 for a 2 year warranty. The warranty covers accidental damage and they will give you 2 replacements a year and total of 4 over 2 years. You only have to pay $29 for a new unit with the warranty.
