Standard aircraft weight (including the Intelligent Flight Battery, propellers, and a microSD card). The actual product weight may vary due to differences in batch materials and external factors. Registration is not required in some countries and regions. Please check local laws and regulations before use. 2. Measured at a constant speed of 21.6 kph in windless conditions. With the Intelligent Flight Battery, the aircraft can fly for up to 38 minutes. With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus (sold separately and only in select countries), the flight time is extended to up to 51 minutes, but the aircraft will weigh more than 249 g. I initially bought a cheaper sort of off-brand drone. I returned it almost immediately and bought the DJI mini 3 (fly more combo). This is a great little drone. Small enough to not require FAA registration. Capable of flying great distances due to frankly amazing battery life and respectable transmission range. It has a theoretical maximum range of 10 km but I've only had it out to 6-7 km and that was from a significantly elevated point. This drone is very easy to fly but it has the performance and subtlety of control that allows for some fairly acrobatic flying, though nothing like an fpv drone - the tilt angle is always going to be limited. Good camera quality and some "quick shots" features that allow one to take semi-automated video shots in different patterns. The DJI mini 3 does not have any obstacle avoidance feature which does come on the DJI mini 3 pro, for a little more. I have lost RC signal a number of times and each time it has obediently flown back on its own until signal returned and I could take control again. With the 3 batteries, each lasting easily over 30 minutes without cutting it close (30% or so still on the battery) and a recharge time of just over an hour per battery, you can fly this thing almost continuously. Drone flies great, and is really easy to control. It has a return to home function that even if your phone dies or somehow gets disconnected from the controller, the drone will return home. The only thing that could be better is the battery life. It only lasts about 30 minutes. Even with multiple batteries, I still feel that it would be troublesome. I fly drones commercially and this one is not my first, but it's possibly one of my best. As the title hints, this thing flies so very well. The flight is very stable, the controls are snappy, and video feedback (in this case, through the Fly App) is practically in real time. I do have a few criticisms however. The battery life is a bit short compared to other similar drones. The way to charge the battery is a bit wonky, as you have to do so through the drone itself unless you have a dedicated charging bay that fits that battery (which you should anyway). And finally, the Fly App isn't on the play store for Android. You have to get it from DJI's website. This wouldn't be much of a criticism, but it it's place on the play store are a number of scam apps. These apps are expensive or require expensive subscriptions, and they don't work. To DJI: please consider putting the Fly App on the Android play store before somebody pays a lot to brick his/her new drone. But overall, this is a good drone. I think professionals and hobbyists both will find it worth the money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great video quality, relatively easy to fly and very modifiable button layouts to ease the learning curve. Right out of box and flew around first day without much difficulty. Did have some issues deciphering transferring videos/ photos off the drone and to a shareable device however there are videos galore on various social media platforms. The attached video is my first flight. For me, it was worth the money. In retrospect I probably would have splurged for one with more onboard sensors to prevent hitting branches or other obstacles, would have made it more difficult to have accidents but seems sturdy and haven’t had any issues to date.
