Description

Overview: Experience the thrill of real excitement with DJI Goggles 3! When paired with Avata 2 and RC Motion 3, you'll enjoy an immersive control experience like never before. With the new Real View PiP and DJI O4 low- latency video transmission, you can soar into vivid visuals and take your first steps into the world of drone piloting with confidence and excitement. 1. DJI Avata 2 and DJI RC Motion 3 are sold separately. 2. Measured using 1080p/100fps video transmission, tested outdoors in an open interference-free environment. 3. Tested in an outdoor open environment without interference. The video transmission bitrate varies by operating environment. 4. Under FCC standards and subject to the aircraft's max flight distance, measured in an interference-free outdoor environment. When used with different aircraft, the goggles will automatically select the corresponding firmware to match the aircraft's video transmission specification. 5. Wearing and viewing experience may vary by user. 6. The 3-hour max operating time was measured at an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F), screen brightness at 4, connected to the DJI Avata 2 aircraft, video transmission set to 1080p/100fps, Head Tracking off, Real View off, and the goggles' battery fully charged and not supplying power to external devices such as smartphones. 7. ‌If the 5.8 GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing to the smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. To achieve this function, a wired connection is recommended. Check and verify local flight and radio laws and regulations prior to flying. 8. Tested in an outdoor open environment free of interference. The video transmission bitrate varies by operating environment. 9. The screen refresh rate changes with the video transmission frame rate. It may switch between 100 Hz and 60 Hz to adapt to the current video transmission frame rate. 10. Included in the box and should be installed to achieve diopter adjustment. 11.Data measured in a DJI laboratory and is for reference only. For specific testing conditions, consult the corresponding product page on the DJI official website.

  • Best Goggles!
These goggles are great! they are super comfortable, the battery lasts a lot longer than previous goggles, they're much lighter and the built in focus is excellent, I do not need corrective lenses like I needed before. Looking through the built in cameras is not the best, its like zoomed in tunnel vision, not a good experience but I don't see myself using that feature so much anyways. ... show more

  • Absolutely love these Goggles 3
This is my preferred way to fly drones. And a lot of adjustment for eye clarity.

  • They could have a 5 star rating if DJI could fixe one issue!
If you own certain DJI drones and wish to experience FPV (First Person View) these are a pricey yet great way to go. Fully adjustable, they are comfortable, even for expended use. FPV is an amazing adventure and you need to experience it in order to understand and fully enjoy it. As mentioned, the goggles ARE pricey, but the fit, comfort and amazing view help you understand why they are priced at that level. And now for the not so good stuff! These goggles will only work with certain DJI Models. Make sure you check and double check to make sure they can be paired with your drone. For instance, you would think a company that makes a drone named Mavic 3 and then comes out with Goggles 3, would make the two items compatible. NOPE!!! Also, DJI's pairing instructions are, well, crappy. For pairing info, go online and search out videos on the process. The written instructions that come with the goggles is simply a test for your mental endurance and patience. I failed but YouTube bailed me out. Another bone of contention is DJI provides no case or bag for carrying these devices. That makes zero sense to me. There is one aftermarket case that I am aware of, but it is a mediocre solution as the goggles do not fit in as well as they should, causing a bulge in the case when closed, and the case isn't hard like several of the drone cases are. Instead, it is a semi-hard material that will offer little if any protection for the goggles, especially against impact. For the price DJI is charging for these goggles, they should have furnished a nice hard case. ... show more

  • Not ideal for mini 4
Bought for mini 4 for better visibility on sunny days - no complaints here It disables main mini 4 feature for me - vertical videos for instagram (( Also if you’re on latest IPhone that still doesn’t have an app support you’d need some other device to activate goggles

  • Very cool!
It is a cool piece of tech. Not as heavy as I expected it to be and once you get through the initial setup out the box, which will most likely include a firmware update for you as well, it has a slot above the bridge of the nose to playback video footage as well as stereoscopic video. I recommend operating while sitting unless you double tap the right temple which allows PiP view and you can choose to see your surroundings or your drone/video feed as the dominant view. If you choose to walk around be aware that objects in the camera view built in are zoomed in a foot or two. ... show more

  • Immersive Flying Experience
I bought the DJI Goggles 3 for use with an Avata 2 FPV drone, and a Mini 4 Pro camera drone. Goggles shield you from bright sunlight, which makes a conventional control screen very hard to see. It also makes obstructions like bare branches and wires, which are invisible to obstruction sensors, readily visible. Goggles also place you in the pilot's seat, whether flying at height (<400') or rapidly near ground level. A tap on the side opens up a real-view window of your immediate surroundings, without lifting the goggles from your face. There's one annoying downside. While the Min 4 Pro has a 48 MP sensor for still shots, the resolution is limited to 12 MP while using the goggles. Hopefully DJI will fix this in a future firmware update. ... show more
