Pros: not having to build yourself from scratch, you can be a novice and fly without research, it’s fast, fun, looks mean, sounds mean, has the air brake button if things go wrong in acro mode. Streamline controller, battery charger platform and a bunch of after market add on (ND filters) available. Fly simulator isn’t super accurate but it made me prepared enough to fly full manual. Cons: it’s a beefy boy, chunky chonk, fragile from made of plastic, my heart starts pounding when attempting to try new things in full manual, especially regarding the price of it/ to even have DJI care on this. Not as nimble as those carbon fiber agile guys with sturdier frames. But at the end of the day if I lose signal it comes home, if the battery dies I have plenty of warning and will have a good chance of finding it if I can’t make it back home. Over all I call it a great buy and I enjoy flying it every chance I get! flippy flips and loopy loops until it nails pavement. ... show more

Everything with the product is fine, the issue I am having now, once received, is that I am realizing the extra $300 seems to be for an SD card, sd card reader, backpack, and landing pads... probably best to get the original product and source your own add ons.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have had drones over the past decade and hesitated on FPVs because building one is extremely complicated, the analog goggles just really sucked, and it takes more free time than I have to do all that, and cost still would be around 1k. When I got this one it was the BEST choice I ever made. Features, safety and reliability make this a great choice. No regrets at all even when I knew the Avata was coming out in a few months. Piece together any other quality drone kit and it will cost the same not to mention there is no building or programing with this one. Its pretty much plug and play. I would advises starting out very slow and get to know ALL the functions before doing risky moves. Watching lots of videos is a tremendous help. As for having to get accessories, no matter what drone you get you will always have to buy accessories. Batteries, bags, extra props....yep it does add up. I did give the Durability 4 stars because this really cant take too much of a hit in a crash. I would definitely get a protection plan or Drone Insurance. If you want a plug and play FPV with power this it folks. I have flown this up rivers and waterfalls, mountains and ocean beaches with no issues. ... show more
