I was kind of sad that it didn’t play music and the ballerina didn’t spin and there is a bit of a bubble in the top and when the light is turned on, you can see it’s plastic. With all of that said, I was so happy when we received it. I still get happy when I look at it, it is so cute, well made, and solid. My daughter loves it and sleeps with it next to her at night. After searching for the "perfect" snow globe, my granddaughter chose this one. When she opened it on Christmas Eve, the globe was leaking (in a plastic bag), and although I knew it wouldn't work I was still hoping the batteries would light it up until I could get it replaced.
