I won't say that this bag has as much padding as I wish it didn't come up but it certainly has more than any DJ controller bag I have seen to date. I have more appointments in this bag then in any of those others. It's got decent extra storage, and you can even carry it on your back if you so choose, freeing up your hands to do other things. I would prefer a leather for something like this, but that wasn't an option. As it is, the fabric seems tear and cut resistant, looks like it would clean easily in case of spills or vomit/contamination, and I expect it will last many years. It's a nice bag. For the price, it ought to be! I do think that they're asking a little bit more for it then is appropriate, and for that, I have to dock it a star, but if you have the spending cash and are looking for a good bag that actually fits this controller, this is likely going to be THE bag for you. I don't think there are any others out there made to fit anymore - i.e, discontinued. It's nice that somebody's making one, and that it doesn't lack for quality! ... show more

Love the quality of this gear bag for my DJ controller. I have an older Numark MixDeck Express that we still use on the ocassional gig, and I love that this fits. It's a little taller than what it is made for, but it fits anway! I can also get my laptop in the laptop sleeve, and everything is super padded and secure. All the pockets inside the front zip area are super helpful as well, whether it's for cords, pens, notebooks or tablets. It's very well made and sturdy. I probably wouldn't trust it to the airlines though. For all my gigs though, this will be great for protecting my gear and allowing me to keep more things I need in one spot. ... show more

Necessity is the mother of invention. I was looking for a backpack bag that I could use as my gig bag and carry my effects board. My 22X14" pedal board fits perfectly! It has straps to hold in in place while moving and there are pockets inside and outside for moving loose gear! I cut out the divider and put it on top to protect the pedals when I am traveling. This is a RUGGED bag and will nicely protect your gear and make it easy for you to move in and out of gigs. It is not an airport case so I would not let it go anywhere unattended. The Timoxi DJ Controller Case for DDJ-FLX4 is an okay option if you want a large bag to store and transport your DJ set with all the cables. The husband has a DJ DDJ-FLX4, and it fits in the case without any issues. I liked how the case is padded and has plenty of pockets to store a good amount of peripherals, but I didn't like how the main pocket that holds the actual ReKordbox was so large. It's padded well, but there's so much space on the sides that the unit slides around. I suppose you can cushion that area with additional cables or other items, but it would have been nice to either have foam pieces to keep it securely in place, or have the bag fitted a little more securely around the DJ setup. The husband ended up using fabric to wrap his additional cables to fit in that space without scratching his DJ setup. The bag feels durable and is comfortable to carry. Overall, it's a nice option for a DJ controller case, but it does require a little extra modifying or clever packing to make sure the deck stays put. ... show more

This soft travel case for your mid sized controller is very good with the quality of the top tier brands. Plenty of padding, pockets for accessories, laptop compartment and a strong padded shoulder strap or back straps to get around hands free to carry possibly more gear. You can even slide onto a trolley cart or hand truck for secure travel. Thumbs up! ... show more

This case was intended to replace my Numark Mixdeck Express Odyssey case that is beginning to have a zipper issue after 6 years. This Timoxi case is very different with respect that while both use EVA padding, the Odyssey uses a much more rigid outer case and cannot fit a notebook computer. This Timoxy case relies on much thicker padding and straps tp hold the mixer in place. You can see in pics 6&7 that the Mixdeck fits perfectly, and even a notebook computer can fit in 2 possible locations - as well as mouse, power brick and a host of other goodies can fit with the generous space. Unfortunately, this case is designed with the elastic straps to originate UNDER the mixer, and the zipper that compresses the foam upper flap into place on top of the mixer controls, and therefore prevents placing the straps ON TOP OF THE FOAM FLAP. Therefore, as you can see in pics 9&10 the straps lie up against the knobs & sliders. Pic 11 shows the straps in relation to the zipper. The zipper is on top! Pic 12 is a closeup of the straps in the exact wrong spot. If your mixer is only push buttons, great. If it is like mine, with knobs & sliders, not so great as you risk damaging your controls. FYI, an Amazon reviewer reported that the Odyssey case has changed since my initial purchase in 2018, and no longer fits well......so this is probably your best/only option! ... show more
