These were pretty straightforward to install. Take note of the tiny black screws it comes with, you use a hex wrench it comes with to install them in the light but it wasn’t hard. Looks sleek on our dark blue wall and makes the atmosphere a more inviting and cozy room than an overhead light. These lights are legit! Install was super easy especially if you follow the little sheet in the box (they even send you a phillips screwdriver to use). The only edit I made was I used my own drywall screws that I got at Home Depot. I just hung these today and still need to hide the cords but really liking the look. 2 things to keep top of mind: 1. The light can be tilted like I did but you cannot slide it up and down the center hub piece...it is hard fixed in that location for the wiring (duh, ha). 2. The remote is super clutch (& they send you two). The controls on the cord are pretty limited but when I started using the remote I became a BIG fan because you can really play with the light variation with the remote. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought these to fill in the open space next to our tv in the bedroom. Also love that the assembly was simple and that they provided a Phillips screw driver as well as extra screws as some are tiny. Put them both up in about 30min. One of them did not work properly when using the dial attached to the cord, it only worked when using the remote. My husband wasn’t crazy about the cord hanging down so we had to return them. There are other rechargeable options that seemed like a cleaner look.

I like how they look on my black wall. Of course it would be nice if they were brighter, but I knew what to expect from other reviewers. The remote is so easy to operate and works with both. Installation is easy. If you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any issues.
