    • Don't Buy! Spend More Get Better! NO SUPPORT

I bought 3 of these on September 2, 2019. The day of me writing this review is November 4, 2019. I have had nothing but issues with these cables. Sometimes they will display sometimes they won't. At first I thought it was a issues with my graphics card, so I used them on another computer and after a day or so the issues continued to happen. But that's not the worst part believe it or not..... Two months into owning these cables and 2 out of 3 have just flat out stopped working. No reason what so ever. One day they worked shut my computer off for the day, came back the next day turned my computer back on only to find one of the cables isn't displaying any more. I have plugged these two cables that have stopped working into 4 different computers with no luck. I have also tried USB adapters and such with no luck as well...... BUT WAIT..... THERE'S MORE!!!! About a week ago I sent the seller a email which is when the first cable went, and well I'm sure you can guess what I'm about to say... Seller has yet to respond. I have sent them 4 different emails (not including the first one) over the course of a week asking for replacements of the cables as they are only 2 months old. They have yet to respond... Go figure. The last email sent was a few minutes before writing this review. Now as a business owner myself with over 200 employees, I can tell you first hand if I found out one of my customers was flat out ignored no matter the reason, every employee who I find came in contact with that support ticket would be fired on the spot no questions asked. So I'm a little confused as to how a business can get away with this and still be in business...... Anyways Save your money time and energy and simply buy a different brand all together! ... show more

overall very impressed with the cable as of a week of owning it. to be fair i was skeptical at first since this is one of the cheaper options, but thank god i now know that my fear was misplaced. has held up very well, doesnt effect picture or response time in any way at all. currently using it for my left monitor and its holding up very well. again, very impressed, will update review if any thing changes :) ... show more

Update: This cable stopped working after just a few weeks. The monitor I was using it with still works but just not with this particular cable. I purchased another one of the same brand, right out of the packaging, it was not working. Searching for another brand and will not purchase again. I was faced with a dilemma. I have a monitor that I love but wasn't able to use it because it only has a VGA connection or HDMI and my docking station only had VGA and displayport connection. I had another monitor already using the VGA port on the docking station. This cable was the solution. The picture quality seems so sharp and clear. This is a great product. I've purchased other cables from this company and they are all durable and made of strong material. I highly recommend. ... show more

Just added a new video card and I quickly looked at connectors, it looked like all 4 outputs were hdmi, but I later found out 1 hdmi and 3 dp. Had to buy these cables to be able to connect to monitors. These new dp connectors have grips so to release connector remember to press button to realease. Buying this is like buying a kitchen gadget that takes up space and only performs one task that could easily be performed by a multitasking appliance. Why would you want to have a cable that can only work one way? What happens when you toss it into your cable collection and forget that it's DP to HDMI only, and won't work the other way? Then you fish it out when you think you have a solution for a problem, only to discover that it's worthless. Better to buy a cable that works both ways so you can always use it, no matter what problem arrises in the future. ... show more

If you are trying to link an older HP computer to a new monitor, you will need this. We bought a refurbished HP 8300, which is a solid machine - often seen in hospitals. However it doesn't have an HDMI output. instead, it has a Display Port, and you will need to get this cable to drive a monitor with HDMI input. You'll get the best display quality that way. This product looks and feels solid and worked right away with no fussing around needed, but that's what you would expect from a cable. I've only had it a week, so I can't comment on durability, but I would recommend this cable. ... show more

I sometimes like to connect my laptop to my TV in the living room as a second monitor. It is especially useful when I need to reference drawings and diagrams when I put together job estimates. I have an HDMI keystone jack installed directly below my TV for plugging in game consoles and anything else that has an HDMI output. This fits the bill and I have had no issues with HDCP, or resolution issues. It is long enough for me to be a comfortable distance from the TV, yet small enough for me to coil up and keep it inside my laptop bag. I have purchased several of these and provide them to my customers with conference table with an HDMI connection. It is very common for laptops to only have a DisplayPort out connection on their laptops, so after I complete the A/V installation I leave one of these, and a 6' HDMI cable so they will always have the right cable on hand. ... show more
