This works out great when we go to the pool, and our autistic son doesn't always understand that he needs the towel around his core to stay warm. I felt like it was a good value for my money. The color has not faded with any washing, and it doesn't shed any fabric. It's kind of soft, but I don't particularly care for it's absorbency.
