I expected there to be a better mix of activity books and real books, but 20 days in I think there has been 5 books so far and the rest are activity books which my son has no interest in. Unlike other advent book products, the stories have nothing to do with Christmas which is also disappointing. I would not recommend this for anyone with kids younger than 7 or 8 who might enjoy completing the activity books. ... show more

We ordered the story book advent calendar the past 4years. These served as great bedtime stories for our two kids. Unfortunately this yeas advent calendar was a mix of stories and activity books, too many activity books mean that we could not use the advent calendar as bedtime stories through the month leading up to Christmas. ... show more
