The tray is designed to hold the sponge holder and a dish soap or hand soap bottle.

I have a very small area on the side of my sink and was looking for a container that would consolidate my sponges and dish brush. This fits perfectly in the space and looks nice. It is streamlined and solid. It is also easy to rinse out and clean. It is open inside so I have found that sometimes I have to arrange all of the implements in order so that the brush stays upright and faces the direction I want it to but that is a small issue considering that I was able to get rid of a mess of different holders on the side of my sink. I have been looking for this exact item. It does have defect on it. Like a dent on one side but it was glazed over. I wanted to return it and get a new one due to the cost but Amazon told me to keep it and refunded me. I thought that was very nice.     • Simple but functional design
This is such a simple design but is great for storing my bottle brush and straw brush upright, plus a sponge in the center slit. There is only one drainage hole in the bottom, so you'll need to rinse and wash it regularly to avoid mold. But at least the sponge placement allows it to air dry.

I was looking for a functional non-plastic sponge caddy with room for a brush as well. It works as intended, it's a nice shade of white, and it looks like it's from a small shop in Virginia. Highly recommended and I'll be looking forward to other products from Scarlettwares.
