My 4-year old disk rack gets so rusty and it stains to edge of my plates. I do a deep on-line search for a new one for meeting two criteria: (1) big-capacity and (2) Stainless-Steel. Most of the 1-tier or 2-tier dish racks don't meet my capacity requirement. So, I have to go with 3-tier ones. Finally, I pick this one based on the good reviews from its 2-tier version, as there is no review on this one when I order it. Upon receiving it, I feel the metal rack is too thin and fragile. I seriously suspect it can sustain the weight of the heavy dishes. It's very easy to assembly this dish rack. After it is fully assembled, the dish rack stands firm, it does not rattle at all. That alleviates my concern about its weight carrying capability. This dish rack takes about 2/3 of footprint comparing with my old one. I end up freeing up some space on my countertop. This is nice. Comparing with other 3-tier dish racks in the market, this one has the largest clearance between each tier. This is one key reason I pick this one. The downside of this large clearance is the total high of this dish rack. In my situation, the total height is not a limitation. But, this may be an issue for others. So far, I am happy with this 3-tier dish rack with its large capacity, large clearance between tiers, shinny with stainless steel, and small footprint. The only small issue, small items on the bottom tier could easily fall out from the side as there is no protection in that area (you can see from my photo). ... show more

I don't know what has taken me so long to replace my dish rack, but I am so happy that I finally did. I posted a "my dish rack before and my dish rack after" picture and if you look you can clearly see that I had the standard old white plastic dish rack. It not only lacked style, but it was an absolute nightmare to keep clean. In fact I had to use bleach and a toothbrush to scrub it twice per week, every week.. this sucked for numerous reasons, not the least of which is that I ended up ruining about three pairs of jeans and at least four tops with bleach splatter. True story. Enter stage left, the new dish rack. What I liked about it and what I would change about it: Well, I like that it's black metal so I'm not going to have to scrub it incessantly like the old one. Additionally the metal is sleek and trendy looking. Each of the three tier has its own plastic tray underneath that easily slips in and out for quick clean-up. So far I've been getting a lot of compliments on it, so that doesn't hurt either. I would never have thought of a dish rack as being a game changer in the kitchen, but in all honesty this new trendy one has changed the visual Dynamics in my kitchen. To me it just looks cleaner and sleeker. Now for what I change: I would like to give a word of advice to any potential buyers, you must measure from tje counter to the bottom of your cabinets (if in fact you have cabinets over the space where you plan to put your dish rack.) additionally you must add enough room to that measurements so that you'll be able to utilize that top rack. I didn't do that, so therefore I have limited use of the top rack. Also, I would like to see the construction of the dish rack a little sturdier. This is a good looking dish rack. 3 tiers holds a lot of dishes. Perfect size for a small kitchen. A few hints: keep a robo grip tool and tube of gorilla glue handy. Adjustments may need to be made to the shelves and accessories to make sure they grip the horizontal braces snuggly. Once the dish rack has been fully assembled, remove each screw, one at a time, apply gorilla glue to the tip and along the thread and rescrew. Application of the gorilla glue will make the rack more stable. Allow the glue to set before using. ... show more

I purchased this because it was the exact height I needed and it looked sturdy and nice. However, the item came scratched, two of the trays do not sit properly, the screws and nuts were all thrown in the box, and I had to keep one of the lifts for the bottom not screwed all the way in time ensure it’s wouldn’t rock back and forth. For the amount of money I paid for this I expected something much better quality and not coming to me like used goods. Since it’s such a hassle to get a new box (the box it arrived in was broken) and do all the necessary to mail during this pandemic, I am stuck with something that looks like it’s seen better days. ... show more

Now that we're just past the return window... rust is developing. This drainer is NOT made from stainless steel. Overall, it does what we want it to for the most part and is handy for doing a family's dishes every day. The drainers on the ends for cutting boards or the silverware slide around, so you may have to use pliers to tighten them down. But, we specifically did NOT want a drainer that would rust, because putting wet dishes on a drainer every day means conditions are right for developing rust. Every single joint on the top rack now is developing rust, and the fact that this is eye level is incredibly frustrating. If I could return this for being misleading advertising and for not being the product advertised, I would. ... show more
