So, as some other review's have stated the product showed up with a bit of "flimsy-ness" and there are two pieces of velcro which are great when in "bot mode" to hold up the engine bay/fender portion. However, when trying to transform into "vehicle mode" the velcro would stay stuck and my 4 year old would lose his "S" not being able to transform it. 4 wire coat hangers bent and shaped properly and a bit of black duct tape later I was able to give the costume legit rigidity. I put some tape over the velcro that was getting caught and now it transforms easily and looks AWESOME! My son is OVER THE MOON! (To be fair HE was over the moon even with the "flimsiness", but Dad knew we could do better) I've seen the cardboard cut out template versions of these costumes, I'm just not that creative/artsy/It would end up looking wonky, so if you want to give your child a super cool transforming costume and you're willing to put in a little bit (20 minutes tops) of work this thing is great! ... show more

The idea of this costume is great but not the execution. If you have the time to help your child transform to the car version EVERY 2 minutes buy it, if not then the car won't really look like a car (maybe that's ok for some kids). As far as sizing goes, my son wears a 6 normally (he just turned 6) but he's very slim and the 4-6 was a perfect fit. ... show more

I got this for my 5 year old son for Halloween. He absolutely loved it and said it was everything he wanted. He was so excited to transform into the car. My 5 year old son loves it! It fits perfect! He loves transforming! It's just a bit hard for him to transform completely! He needs a little help getting the pieces in the right spots! But he just turned 5 so I figured it would be a little difficult for him! But hes happy & loves it!
