We recently transitioned from the baby-seat to this one for my 4 year old son. He's tall, but light, and my wife was very insistent on following the weight guidance for transitioning him to a new seat. When we did transition, my son was so happy! He loves the little cup and snack holders. The seat itself seems very comfortable, and my sone thoroughly enjoys the increased movement that the chair offers. It is very easy to install, although I do have to say that the installation instructions themselves stink. It took longer to try to figure out how to install the chair than to actually install it, and now that we know the trick, it is very easy to install. It seems very secure, and has been through one minor fender-bender with good performance. Great seat that grows with the kids as they outgrow everything at light speed. The seat back adjusts in height AND width. The material quality is awesome. It's got cup & snack holders that can be hidden when things are tight or they aren't needed. The latch attachments are easy and quick to install or remove. There's a seat belt guide that moves with the seat back as it adjusted so the belt is always at the right place for your little one. This seat was easy to assemble and install in my vehicle. It is well built and heavier than other booster I have encountered. It has two straps with latches to secure the seat to the vehicle unlike some I have encountered and returned.     • Extremely firm, but does not require removing headrests
Its solid, nice looking. But its extremely firm, especially back. The back is like a board covered with only 1 layer of fabric. My daughter refused to seat on it even 10 min. I put some foam rubber between plastic back and the fabric to mitigate this. Probably different styles-colors differ in terms of comfort as i can not believe that Our chair can have 4.8 comfort score. Our color is red and without any extra foam rubber its too firm. I kept this chair as this is the only chair that does not require to remove headrests in the car to install it. Its a huge advantage for me. I can not remove headrests in my car therefore the options are limited. The chair is very big that is good. but in my car its hard to fasten a seatbelt as the chair hardly fits in the space. My child used to fasten the belt herself in previous chair but with this one its hardly impossible. Also we can not use a cup holder due to the same space limitation. But most probably its not relevant for bigger cars. And minor :) Summary: With the foam rubber addition it’s ok, and it looks great. ... show more

This was the third booster seat that I bought for my 6 yr old son. After a terrible car accident, I want comfortable putting him in a backless booster but he’s a big kid so I needed a larger size booster. Love the ability to widen the shoulder space, the seat is the widest version I could find, and the arm rests are well padded and open wide so they don’t press into his hips.
