This set has a lot of attractive features (the overall dinosaur theme, tunnels/ramps/curves, etc.). It doesn't come with a whole lot of track, but it appears the track sections are identical to other brands who make similar products, so if you have any of those (we do ... a lot of them) this will make a good addition. Or the set makes for a nice tabletop layout by itself. My only concern is the material the track sections are made from; other brands use a softer, more flexible material, these seems more brittle, which makes me wonder how long they will hold up. But this is a nice gift for a child wo is into cars, dinosaurs, or both! ... show more

Very fun set. Easy to setup. It's a non stop toy to be played with. My nephew wouldn't want to go home. Adding extra tracks to this would definitely keep a child even more entertained.

    • Love these tracks. They fit with our previous set.
My son loves the dinosaurs. We purchased these hoping they would fit with our informercial set we purchased a while ago. The fit perfectly and have two new cars included. My son broke one of his previous ones and now has three. The car speed is great especially when they have new batteries. They struggle a bit to get up the spiral road when the batteries are about half charged. A great addition was the car ramp down. This was a decent sized track to start with all the pieces. Since we have the older track that works well with this one we have a massive track and it's actually pretty darn cool. Wish we had some of this stuff growing up. We will probably purchase more to keep adding. One thing I will say that is not negative but learned through experience is, if you purchase these you should probably grab some Amazon Basic rechargeable batteries. My son leaves these cars on ALL the time without us knowing and it will eat batteries with no problem. You can use any type of rechargeable batterie but we've found that the Amazon ones for the price work almost as well as the expensive ones. We will definitely get some more of these set. The media could not be loaded. I don't typically buy many toys that involve so much plastic, but this one looked like it had some potential in the way of engagement and fostering a bit of creativity with changing up the track configuration. This set is great! It has more unique options than I've seen in similar types of track sets - the U-Turn station makes this set most unique. Initial assembly was easy, but some of the connections were a bit tricky at first, so the younger kids might ask for help a lot until they get the hang of them. The connection coming down the Rotary Tower to the dinosaur head is a bit weak and can easily come disconnected if you have a child that is a bit rough with that section. The little cars only take one AA battery each, and so far we've gotten about 4 solid hours out of our first set of batteries before the cars started to slow down considerably - so if this track is the sole focus of your child's play that day, I guess expect on replacing the batteries quite often. Yikes. It is a shame they aren't rechargeable. The cars are pretty fast, though, when they have fresh batteries. If they jump track, those little boogers get away quickly! I did not see any additional track pieces sold by this particular company, so I'm curious if it's a universal type of track where you can buy more pieces from other makers, if you wanted to add on. My 5-year-old loves this dinosaur track set! He has another similar one, and we were happy to see that the two sets are compatible. I am impressed that the little dino cars do so well going up the ramps; they must have strong little motors! My son really loves the little roundabout thing that turns the car around. I highly recommend this if you have a car-loving, dinosaur-loving little person in your life. My son plays with this a lot! Just a few things to note: batteries are not included. Each of the two dino cars uses a single AA battery and you need a small Phillips screwdriver to put them in. Also, the street sign and tree accessories are pretty flimsy, but my son doesn't play with those that much (they aren't essential to play with the track set). ... show more

Just a fun set. Similar to the other magical brand of tracks, but with a bunch of other great features. Our kids love the dinosaur theme, and added ramps and tunnels. As others have mentioned, the actual track material is more rigid/brittle seeming than the other brand and may not hold up over time and normal wear & tear. This dinosaur race track is definitely fun for any young child. Gave this to my young nephew and he loved it. The other kids who were playing with him asked their parents to buy this toy for them because they had a lot of fun with it. Highly recommend as a child’s gift.

Great Dino race track and is super entertaining. Came decently packaged and was fun to set up. Already have gotten a few hours of playtime out of it and is one of my nephews favorite Dino sets at my house!
