This light is really good. With 5 bulbs it gets super bright, the rod and Chaim allow you to pick the height of the light easily, it goes together pretty easily and because it is so stiff, it's easer for someone to hold it up while someone else attaches the wires. Once it's up it looks really nice. It does really beg for Edison style bulbs though - the typical frosted LEDs just don't looks great. But for us it made our dining area look so much bigger since we could hang it higher and still get plenty of light at the table. ... show more

I hung this light over my 9.5 ft dining room table and it looks and fits great. It is a great upgrade over the chandelier installed by the builder 10 yrs ago. It came in several pieces and was a little challenging and tight to thread the cables through and get it all put together but other than having to use a little force to thread the wire through one of the parts, it was at least as easy as most IKEA furniture. I have a vaulted ceiling and the way the light hangs it's on the angle and this fixture would definitely be best on flat ceiling or going across the angle where the chains mount level to begin with. In order to make it level I had to add some extra wire to shorten one of the chain links and level it. For now it's a temporary fix to make sure I like the height that it's at, but once I'm sure I like it, I'll probably cut the excess chain off and bend a link smaller to even it out so it looks cleaner. Right now the extra chain is just looped back up. That said, it still works and is great. The actual hanging process was definitely on the easier side compared to some other light fixtures that I've hung. It has a bracket that screws on, then connect the wires and a couple decorative thumb nuts to attach the fixture to the bracket. The wires were simple enough to hook up. I did cut them shorter so they fit more easily in the bracket cover. I would definitely recommend having an extra set of hands to hold the chandelier while you connect the wires and screw it into place. I paired it with some Edison style LED bulbs and am very happy with the effect. It is plenty bright with the five bulbs. ... show more

They should post an assembly video for this. It wasn't a problem for me but when I imagine my neighbor down the street putting it together... He'd probably get it done but not with a smile on his face. Lol. It's not a lot of parts but it's not necessarily intuitive even with the instruction sheet. That said, no worries, you'll be fine just don't expect it to be plug and play. The quality is as elected for the price except for the large tan plastic hole covers that go on the top which for 95% of people will be completely hidden. But if installed where the top can be seen, like from upstairs looking down into the lower floor, it wouldn't look nice to see those tan circles on top of the dark wood. Personally I think this light requires antique Edison style LED bulbs, and don't forget to order them too because it doesn't come with bulbs (I wouldn't expect it too, either.. Only cheaper budget lights seem to do that, and this light is a level or two above those.) Once I get it hanging I'll upload another photo but for now I can at least show the tan covers I mention above. Hope this is helpful to someone - cheers! 🥂 ... show more

There is no safety certification included with the packaging, so I’m slightly nervous about it shorting out and starting a fire a few months down the road. We've tried a few different chandelier lights for over our kitchen counter. This is THE ONE! Assembly is pretty simple and it comes with a good amount of chain to give you the exact hanging height you're looking for. If you're very close to the light (like, during assembly) you can see that it isn't a super expensive light. The top has plastic hole covers, but they don't bother me at all because you can't even remotely see them from where it hangs. However, once it's hanging, it looks lovely and you'd never know it's a $100 light versus an expensive on from the lighting store (we've looked at similar lights that were $1,000+, lighting can get crazy). It doesn't come with bulbs but I like that because you can choose your own color or style bulb. Overall this is an attractive, well-made hanging light for the price! ... show more

Love the look of this lamp. It’s simple and timeless, sturdy, and large enough for most dining rooms (~12’x15’ ). Quite bright depending on what bulbs you use. Installation isn’t the easiest I’ve come across, but it’s doable for an amateur like me. Had to use both of my two brain cells. There was a defect in one of my glass sheaths and one of the bulb mounts was a bit crooked, but fortunately, they were subtle and this did not affect the overall appearance. Just not worth it to take apart and pack and return for a replacement. At $100, it’s a decent value. Overall, pretty happy with it. 4 stars. ... show more
