  • Great boot - large, but great boot
Size: 9 Color: Black
These are really nice boots and compared to most engineer boots out there are very well-priced. I have Red Wing boots that cost a lot more and aren't any better. I tried Chippewas too and they are made very similarly and couldn't justify paying 2x the price. The sole of the Dingo boot has more texture and better traction than the Red Wing or the Chips. They're very sturdy, made from good heavy leather and very comfortable right out of the box. I couldn't NOT recommend buying these if you're looking for a black engineer boot. IMO, the sizing of the boots is off - I saw so many comments about them being large, and so many others about being perfectly sized that I took a shot and ordered my regular size - 9.5. They weren't huge but they were too large, so I exchanged them for 9's which fit much better, but are now perfect with a heavy insole (I used the spares that came with an old pair of Uggs). The toe-box is true to size width-wise, but it is "tall" as another reviewer mentioned. This is great for me because I can wear light or heavy sox w/o squeezing the tops of my toes. The black dye on the inside does bleed, so if you're really particular about getting black on your sox I recommend wearing with dark sox for a while. All in all - excellent boot and great price. ... show more

  • the strap over the arch isn't just decoration
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
Based on other reviews I ordered my size (9-1/2). The boots are "roomy" but the foot bed is true to size - If I'd ordered even a half size down my toes would touch the tip. I am considering putting another hole in the arch strap to snug them up with thinner socks, the strap is definitely the there for proper fitment. Overall the boots are as expected - decent quality but not what you'd get with a much more expensive boot. Definitely a cool boot for motorcycling (or the "greaser" look), I don't plan on going for any long walks in them though !! - for the money and my intended use I'm happy with the purchase. If you're looking for a work/walking boot you may want to consider looking at the more expensive brands in this style. My work boots are iron rangers, money well spent for everyday wear. The Dingo Rob is more of a casual fashion boot imo, the leather is soft and the boot is relative comfortable. Update after 2 days wear - very comfortable (with orthotics and thicker socks). I added a hole to the strap, it snugged the boots up just enough. They are still a bit roomy but doubt they'd come off in a "bad biking situation", can be pulled off but the straps need to be loosened to put em back on. for the money I raised my rating, bad ass boots on a budget !! ... show more

  • Good boot
Size: 8 Color: Black
I'm an 8.5 so I ordered an 8. Fit looks similar in size. You'll have room inside for an insert, get 1. 1st day, it was rubbing on the side of my ankle. A little blood lol... I put a bandaid and bought an insert. So far good. Gotta try without a bandaid still. Hard to put on to finalize your foot inside properly. I'm confidently assuming it needs to be broken in. Went out that same night, had a good time, since your asking, got home late, I ubered and glad I did as I love south and everyone went north. Any who, by the end of the night, I was able to take the boot off easier than the beginning of the night. Company party for you curious minds. I was the 1 with best head of hair there. I told them I just got a hair cut. They complimented me to which I replied, "I know." With my boots in full swing, I forgot I was wearing them as I utilized what sign language, asl, that I knew as it came up in conversation with the bar-tender. While shipping was slow, seeing where it was coming from, my quick wit was not that night as my humor kept her laughing as she poured my drinks with grace. Grace was new to the establishment but was doing a great job for a 1st day. For some reason, the product was held for a couple days at a facility, which I believe should have sent it quicker. I doubt I agreed to "ship together." As the night progressed my boots naturally became a part of my legs. An extention of my neck, if you will. Will you? I'm happy with the size I ordered. These being engineer boot as well as being an engineer myself professionally, my feet stayed dry as I waited to end my night waiting for my uber, alone at 3:34a.m., in the rain. Though I sadly watched my pal throw away a long night of convo and laughter with a woman by insulting everything she added to the talk, these boots kept me comfortable in knowing that though I'm ending the night in solitude and though nothing I could do for this woman would change her mind about wanting nothing more than to leave to go home, I and I alone, in my engineer boots that I paid a fair price for, was not the demise of such a fatal mistake many men fall upon in attempts to end a night happily with the touch of a woman. No no no no no. It ain't me babe. No. No, no. It ain't me. These boots absolutely provided comfort indeed. Make the purchase. Thank you. 4 Ever, Migz ... show more

  • very large
Size: 11 Color: Black
first off the boots came in a back with cardboard shoved in the boots. no box at all luckily the boots were not damaged. i wear a size 11 in doc martins so i ordered a 11d in these. the boots sole fits true but the rest of the boot is very loose they fit like rain boots . had to cut extra holes in the straps and put a thick boot insole in to get them to fit. i wear them with a 501 style pant so they fit "ok" . if you have skinny legs or plan on wearing tighter fitting pants i would not recommend these boots. leather and stitching and sole all feel good quality like they will last long, but all in all a big clunky rain boot. ... show more

  • Excellent boots!
Size: 11 Color: Black
The oiled leather and feel of them are amazing the buckles aren't just for show and allows you to loosen or tighten as needed. Great product for the money. I would definitely buy again but think these will last a long time.

  • Run big
Size: 11 Wide Color: Black
Love these boots The wide width is really wide. I read they run a size big so I ordered 1/2 size smaller and they were still way too big. Thankfully they had a full size smaller than what I wear and easy peasy exchange. Thanks Amazon

  • I purchased a second pair cause I liked the first pair
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
Other reviews suggested ordering 1/2 smaller in size. I did and the boots fit perfectly. And I got compliments on the boots the very first day I wore them, a month later and I still get compliments
