There's no practical reason for an adult to buy this except for a few reasons; 1. For someone else who collects that they know would appreciate adding this to their set; 2. For a teenager that shows an interest in starting; 3. For themselves. The latter is me - and I just love collecting 1:50 scale CATS (the construction machines - only). This low-boy is the perfect transporter to add to my collection. Diecast Masters are among the best of the manufacturers of these pieces. Sadly, I do not see a continued interest in today's generation in owning them - or even crafting them. The detail is exquisite and as an engineer, I can appreciate the workmanship. ... show more

I loved all the details it has love how fast it came in the mail just keep in mind it's 1:50 scale so if you intend on using it with 1:64 it's going to be big I made that mistake but still love the semi trailer and tractor

Plastic parts on truck break off easily like the stacks and the step on the frame. Lowboy does not lock onto 5th wheel. Perfect for a collector to put on display. Not so much for a kid who wants to play with it.
