Absolutely love everything about this jacket but I had to return it and order a larger size. Thanks Amazon for making the return so easy! My cockapoo weighs 26 lbs, chest 23, length 19 and I ordered the 19 length which I believe is the 2XL. It fit very snug and I couldn't zip it all the way up. I ordered 2 sizes up and hopefully the 22 length will fit him. It will definitely cover his little tail which is actually a good thing. Hopefully it won't be too big around his chest but he does need extra room especially with thicker fur in the winter. Keeping fingers crossed it will fit but if not I will replace it with the 21 length because this is a very nice jacket. It's easy to put on, provides nice coverage and is great quality. My dog is ready for snow 🙂 Can't wait to receive the bigger size. I'll update review with new size. Update: The 22 length is a little bit too big by his belly and it covers his privates so he would pee on it. Returning it for the 21 length. Update: 3XL length 21 is the perfect fit for my 26 lb cockapoo, 19 inches in length. It covers his tail but does not block him from peeing and it’s not tight. Perfect!!!! ... show more

We walk our terrier mix about five times a day up here in NW Washington. We first bought a cute jacket that velcroed on, thinking that would be easiest. But the Velcro wore out in a month. So we ordered this one, expecting to have problems getting it zipped on our squirmy little pup. We have had no problems getting it on. The zipper easily engages, and if she is a bit squirmy,there is a small clip to hold the jacket in place until we get it zipped. The built in harness is great, since we don’t need to use both a jacket and a harness. Edited to add that after just a couple weeks the zipper broke. It tends to get jammed up on the fabric, and the teeth finally quit engaging. So off to find a third jacket:( ... show more

My Sammie loves his new dog vest. Lightweight but warm. He's a silver lab and I've tried different vests. It zips from head to tail. Then dog just steps out of front paw holes. No more trying to squeeze my dog into a vest. Also has harness lock for leash which is a plus. Highly recommend. I bought the XL I believe. It tells you by weight and length of dog. Love the coat, was very impressed with it. I think my dog was too 😊 He was very happy after getting him into it. At first I think he may have thought it was a harness & he was going somewhere so it took a bit to get him into it, along with a wack to my face from his excitement lol but once he was all zipped in he was showing it off around the house like "look at my coat" 💞 It does seem like it will keep him warm in the winter & snow, along with keeping the snow out especially by his belly. I also like that the under part isn't close to his pee pee area so it wont get wet/be in the way while he is doing his business. ... show more

Unfortunately after my dog wearing the jacket about 5 times within the past year, the zipper has completely stripped (pulled apart from opposite end) and no longer usable.

Despite living in the Seattle area we've yet to get any rain (go figure!) to determine how water resistant it may be, but as for fit, ease of putting on and taking off and our dog's reaction to it and her ability to conduct her 'business' undeterred we couldn't be more pleased. The media could not be loaded. Got it today. A very nice winter coat for my AST mix. The only caveat is the collar. Fur covered is OK but the pull that tightens the collar are solid and don't move. When I tried, one of the plastic barrels broke off. Not a big deal in calm weather. In harder weather, the rain and wind will go right down her collar. ... show more
