  • Is it really protecting ?
It’s hard to tell how well this product works. After applying it didn’t feel slippery like some other comments. Maybe my roof is getting too old. Being a Dicor product I did want to down grade it too much. I’ve always been impressed with their other products. Hard to say if it’s worth putting this sealer on or not without comparison with one without. Update: my first rv was over 10yrs old and getting a little chalky, so it was hard to tell if it was working. It may have been already damaged. Now I have a new one so we will see if it protects. Then again it says to apply once a month. Don’t think that’s going to happen. As a full timer I wash the roof about 3 times a year and apply the Roof Gard after every wash. I’ve had this rv for just over a year and I noticed it lost it’s bright white look even under the solar panels, so hopefully it’s just an aging thing and not UV damage. I’ve applied it on my black fender skirt and it does leave a noticeable white film, unlike a white roof which is hard to see. Anytime you deal with protectants your at the mercy of the manufacture that they properly tested over a fair amount of time. Dicor is a reputable company, so I’m hoping for the best and will return with any updates ... show more
