Features

  • HIGH QUALITY: The Diamondback Science team has been developing world-class diamond products for the energy industry for more than 40 years. Members of the team recently developed a proprietary Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) nozzle to be used in 3D printing that can handle the most challenging applications! Easier to clean and reduces tip clogging, improves layer adhesion, has a solid diamond tip, any filaments, longer life, lowers operating temperature, and delivers unmatched wear resistance!
  • PRECISION PRINT: Our nozzles rely on a solid diamond tip to improve precision 3D printing. The tip is not a diamond coating, but rather a solid diamond substrate made of polycrystalline diamond. Not only is our diamond the hardest material in the world, but it also provides best-in-class thermal conductivity, or heat transfer capability. Easily transfers heat from the hotend through the nozzle and into the filament--ensuring more precision printing and better layer adhesion on every print!
  • ANY FILAMENT: Diamondback relies on a proprietary and patented diamond technology. This breakthrough technology allows 3D printers to print any filament on the same nozzle. A DiamondBack nozzle can easily print standard PLA and ABS filaments AND highly abrasive carbon fiber-embedded filaments without having to worry about changing out the nozzle! Also it allows 3D printing using PLA Copper, Iron, and Carbon Fiber!
  • LONGER LIFE: The Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) used in every DiamondBack nozzle will significantly extend the overall life of the nozzle. The extreme hardness, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity of this unique material make it an ideal solution for 3D printing. Delivers high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of friction, and high fracture toughness. Extends the tool life of other applications in other industries by 2 to 8 times the life of tungsten carbide and other hard metals!
  • SPECIFICATIONS: It is recommended that DiamondBack Nozzle users follow the operating specifications provided by each 3D printer manufacturer and each filament supplier. DiamondBack Nozzle temperatures should not exceed 300 Celsius.

  • Buy once cry once!
Size: 0.4mm
You get what you pay for fam. I would have beat 3 cheap Chinese ones of the build plate by now. Print quality is stellar and very constant.

  • Fantastic nozzle
Size: 0.4mm
I've been printing 3dxtech EZPCCF with this thing, and PETG CF with no clogs or issues at all. Maybe a bit pricey, possibly not worth it to you for the money, but the print quality is great, and keeping the nozzle clean is a breeze.

  • Excellent Diamond Tip Nozzle
Size: 0.4mm
The nozzle work perfectly in my new Raise3D Pro3 Plus Large Format 3D Printer, upgraded with the Hyper Speed FFF Nozzle system in which I will be printing using “Carbon Fiber” filaments…

  • Yes, it's that good
Size: 0.4mm
The tip gets hot faster than literally anything else on the market because diamond. It's smoother and more nonstick than anything else because diamond. It can effectively heat for high speed printing because diamond. It effectively irons over layer defects in prints because it can reheat and smooth the filament incredibly fast and without sticking. Because diamond. Yeah it turns out polycrystalline diamond is probably just the best thing to make a nozzle out of. Yes, it's expensive, but it'll be the last you ever need. Won't wear out, won't break or shatter, literally nothing else can perform like this nozzle can. If you can afford it, just get it and be done with your nozzle search. And also because it conducts heat SO WELL you'll likely have to lower print temperatures. I had to drop from 215 to 205 with PLA because I was getting overheating defects. Oh yeah, because it conducts heat better and you can lower the temperature, it literally saves on electricity in the long run. How much, I don't know, and it may never pay for itself. It'd be easy to test using a Killawatt or similar device. ... show more

  • Worth the price? Yes yes yes.
Size: 0.4mm
I heard about this nozzle through a YT creator (VoidStarLabs). This nozzle is the best of the best. Your temps change significantly, expect to spend time tuning and dialing in. I found I needed to print about 10c higher than with a brass. I have had zero issues with CF and glitter filament. I had to reach out to customer service at one point, they were responsive within 24h and very helpful. Is it expensive? Yes. Never having to worry about a nozzle again? Worth the cost. ... show more

  • Great until it clogs.
Size: 0.4mm
I print mostly PA6-CF (carbon reinforced nylon) by Polymaker and always keep filament in an active heated dry box, and this nozzle eventually clogs on me, happened multiple times. I never have this problem with a standard one piece hardened nozzle. For this reason I do not recommend.

  • What's the deal with this thing???
Size: 0.6mm
Alright. So I've tried a good swath of nozzles through my modified Ender 3 and most have been suitable but I wanted something I could just leave in without having to adjust for the different temperatures of hardened steel or the softness of copper nozzles. Had a Vandium and Bridgemaster from Slice Engineering and while both were fantastic, they just didn't fit with what I needed. Found this nozzle a few weeks ago and sat on it for a while. Reached out to their customer service with some questions and they were more than helpful. But the bullet and bought it. I can confirm that this was the right choice. Without optimizing the profiles for this nozzle prints already come out super clean aside from the top layers, and this is the first nozzle I've ever had that actually doesn't have anything stuck to it's tip. The polished surface of the diamond tip makes layers go down extra smooth, and it shows when it prints. Temperatures are stable and the quality of construction is fantastic of course. (When looking at the picture of the cubes listed from left to right) Did some test cubes with PLA, Wood Fill, TPU, Silk PLA, Carbon Fiber PETG, Glow in the dark PLA, and Regular PETG. Every single one print d fantastic aside from adjustments I need to make in my slicer for this new nozzle. I'm honestly shocked. if you're on the fence about this nozzle, do it. You will not regret it. This is a premium part that offers premium results and one to the very few that I've rated on Amazon giving it 5 stars. SIMPLY SUPERB! Update: 8/11/2022 This thing is still working flawlessly. Have put about 2 kg of carbon fiber PETG through it without issue. One thing to note is to NOT USE A WIRE BRUSH WHEN CLEANING! If a fiber gets caught within the nozzle and gets bent, it can put pressure on the polished diamond edge and break a small sliver off. Didn't happen to me, but happened to a friend. Just use a junk rag to wipe off the nozzle. Do this and it'll last for for a long time to come! ... show more

  • The real deal. The forever nozzle. but not just for abrasives.
Size: 0.4mm
I love this thing. Before this, my best nozzle was a long volcano style ruby clone I paid 45 bucks for. You can debate all you want on what you really need for abrasive materials. All I know is I print in lots of stuff so the nozzle has to also do PLA and PETG well. Most of the other options like hardened steel or e3d's wonder nozzle mess up bad on petg and leave weird artifacts on PLA because of it sticking to the nozzle. You don't have this problem with diamond or ruby, and you are good to 300F. So you can waste your money on CF-NL you probably don't need. What I know is, even if I'm printing polyterra (I usually am now) I'm going to destroy any all brass nozzle within six months. Just with PLA. People don't understand that those silks and woods and just some dyes in PLA will erode brass nozzle openings. Silks are the worst. How do you think they get them to shine like that? It's not as bad as CF but it is still abrasive. So I just want to never have to replace this part again, and I want good finish on my prints. You get that with this nozzle. Things don't stick to it. It doesn't wear out. I have put a bunch of CF-PLA and CF-ASA through it, then gone right back to cheap polyterra. No changes. I printed enough CF that I'd have ruined a cheap plated brass nozzle. I'd have gotten through the nickle. I'd have started to wear on a steel one. This one is just like the first print. Every single time. So don't buy this just because you want to print exotic materials. It's an upgrade for simple PLA. You get a better surface finish than you will with any all brass nozzle. This thing is expensive, but it goes above and beyond what you are expecting from it. If they made it in the longer volcano size I'd have two of them. ... show more
