Yes! These are sturdy, and make great packaging. I love these for my wax melts and I typically I pour at 130 degrees and they are very durable. The only downfall is they are hard to pull apart.

  • Love this product and will buy more as needed

I ordered these to make homemade wax tarts. Poured hot soy wax directly into the clamshells. No melting at all!!! The wax popped out perfectly. The quality on these are pretty good, you can tell that the plastic is a little thicker and not the flimsy plastic that bends with every whim. The lid to the clam shells are attached so you do not loose them. When you close the lid the lid stays put and does not pop open at all. This is a great way to save money by making your own melts. Love this product and will buy more as needed. ... show more

Many have written that these clam shells are difficult to pull apart... and they are right. But they never melt, they are never flimsy. They are quality pieces... worth the time it takes to pull them apart.

This is my second time purchase of these, and still love them. I make a lot of wax melts and these are the best, and you can't beat the price. I highly recommend.

As per some other reviews, they are packed tightly. I was frustrated trying to pull them apart. Then, the first wax poured into it, melted the bottom & wax was all over my counter. I found if you let the wax sit, for 30-60 seconds, then pour, it works well. The wax doesn't stick to the containers when you try to remove it. ... show more

  • Durable and good quality

So far I've made 15 different melts with these and havent had an issue at all. I love them. They hold between 2 and 2.5 oz of wax beautifully and are sturdy enough that you can push a cube from the bottom and the wax breaks right out and the container doesnt crack. Now I will say they're all stacked when you recieve them so you have to gently pull some of them apart that are a lil squished together but I've had no cracking or breakage with the ones I've pulled off. At the moment these are definitely ones I will buy again. ... show more

  • Nice

I make soy/beeswax blend scented wax melts. I make 16oz of wax and add 2oz of fragrance. It fills 6 clamshells to the top. I use 75% soy 415 and 25% white beeswax. I heat the wax to at least 185°f and add fragrance at 175°f. I pour the wax at about 140°f. I haven't had any issues with the clamshells warping or melting. My recipe separates from the clamshell as it sits and cures, which makes for easy use of the melts. ... show more
