Plastic/rubber so much more durable than the rubber case and does not get loose like the popular rubber brands do. Slots for side buttons PERFECT! I drop my phone a lot (not clumsy, just usually juggling too many things at once) and it has never broken - even on tile or concrete. I got this for my kids’s phone. If you have a screen protector already on your iPhone, you will need to remove that in order for the touch on phone to work because it has its own clear cover. The kick stand is great for keeping the phone upright.
