I've only used the 40 tooth blade but it works like a charm with all the 2x4s I've cut. Cuts right through nails it ya go slow and steady. Fairly low visible wear on it for how much I've used it in my experience. Would recommend 👍

I have used these same blades for a great many years on all kinds of wood and flooring. I am a fan of Dewalt in general. I find their products hold up very well over a long period of time. I bought these blades to keep as replacements for my current Dewalt blade. Unfortunately, miter saw blades do wear out I actually thought I was ordering two 80 tooth fine blades and the Amazon description said twin 80 tooth blades but it came with a 32 and an 80 tooth and the model number DW3128P5 is for a 32/80 mix not two 80s. I use both so for me it does not matter but be careful when ordering that you ordered what you want. The Amazon ad for these blades seems to be mixed up. ... show more

I've used these blades on my DeWalt DWS780 miter saw for over a decade now and they're great - they last just as long as expensive $80 single blades and there's two of them. If you can get this combo pack in the $50 range or cheaper it's a really good deal. The 32-tooth blade is generally used for ripping and crosscutting wood to length while the 80-tooth blade can handle finesse jobs like trim work and angle (miter) cuts. These blades will work on all saws with a 1-inch arbor and DO NOT come with an additional washer/spacer for the middle hole. NOTE: Many miter saws come with a blade already installed that have a washer/spacer also already installed into the middle of the blade. When you change blades, you MUST REMOVE this washer/spacer from the middle of the old blade, insert into the middle of the new blade, then install it on the saw. You don't just need the various tools and the new blade, you need that washer/spacer! ... show more
