  • Missing the Holding Nut
Same as another person, missing the holding nut that connects the shaft to the rest of it. Why is this so common? Very annoying as although Dewalt is sending the missing part for free, I’ll have to wait 2 weeks for the replacement part to get here. Why are the parts missing from the box and why is the replacement part shipping so slow??? Once the parts are all here it seems like it will be an excellent vibrator though. ... show more

  • vibration
This was a great product for over 2500 feet of curbs and used each time. The curbs were 6 inches wide 18 inches deep. The vibrating took a bit of time from over vibrating to under vibrating and finally getting it just right. The last 1500 feet of curb was pretty much flawless front and back. The time saved and uniformity was great. We didnt need several guys using hammers beating the forms front and back. Just this mini tool that did its job well, but then my g/f pulled the trigger and kicked me out the next day. She stole all my 60 volt 12 amp hour batteries. While this tool is great for the job site. Never bring it into the house. ... show more

  • Missing the inner flexible shaft, great tool on my second purchase
I received the tool that looks new but the 4 feet hose like tip doesn’t have the inner flexible shaft that connects the drill with the vibrating tip. I have to return it and the concrete pour had been hold until I purchase another one. It is rare that many people had the same problem. On others reviews. After I purchase a good tool It works amazing. My concrete garage columns are very solid thanks to this tool. I will recommend this for small up to medium large jobs. Compact, lightweight, yet strong to accommodate the concrete and remover air puckets. ... show more

  • Time saver.
The box was tore up on the first one. It didn't work when assembled. The core of the vibrating shaft was missing and fell out of the box. Amazon quickly sent another while issuing the return. Works great. Goes through batteries pretty quick.

  • Works better that you'd expect
I own a construction company and we dig and pour foundations, probably 20 a year or so, we use a vibrator to level out footings and walls. We have a large plug in (110v) vibe that works great but is very cumbersome and really takes 2 people to operate efficiently. I just used this Dewalt for the walls on our last pour and was VERY impressed. Lightweight and easy to use, the variable speed is key especially near doorway opening/drop downs where you don't want to loose concrete down to the next level. I used 2 5amp batteries on our last pour 4' walls 165 linear feet. And yes, my wife likes it too... ... show more

  • Great item. Amazon has slow shipping
Great item. Amazon has stupid slow shipping. Get elsewhere from professional companies and not Amazon. Amazon employees lie and steal from your home.

  • What rock pockets?
So far I've done a few hundred feet of curbing around my yard and driveway and it has been perfect. There are no rock pockets at all after the forms were stripped. What more could I ask for. You can just watch huge air bubbles work out of the concrete so it's condensed beautifully. I got commercial results I'm used to seeing with the big machines on a small scale. ... show more
