We live near the Daniel Boone National Forest on a 3.5 acre mountain top with 40-50 trees needing to be thinned out. This saw easily cut through 10" red maple and many others with ease. Trimming branches was a breeze! The self-oiling feature is a must... all my other small ones have to be manually oiled every few minutes so this makes life in the forest much less work.
