More torque than I will probably ever need. It does not even notice lug nuts, good solid weight so there is no struggling with it twisting, bolts just come right out. On the other hand you need to be careful, I have already twisted the head off a bolt and it happened so fast I had no idea.

It is Quality, Quality, and Powerful! At $298 on sale is a steal. Has a breaking 1400 ft-ib torque (I removed a stuck Anode Rod that nothing else could loosen. Has three tightening power settings so that you do not overtighten. I had a $100 generic brand (only 330 ft-ib) that died after 2 years of occassional use. I should have bought the Dewalt then. I learned how powerful the Dewalt is after renting the same model from Sunbelet Rental 2 times ($32 each per day). ... show more

This thing works so well it almost seems unfair to the lug-nuts. It instantly spins the lugs off of my dual axle camper tires. I went from low-rent to professional like operations with this thing. Look I’m not a pro, but for some reason I’ve been changing a lot of tires. We got a camper two flats there my brand new truck tires slashed by road debris, blah blah all summer. So when the mower bolt has rusted with the nut it was kinda the last straw. I tried the best solvents, I tried heating it with a torch……OF COURSE I TRIED A BIGGER FRIGGIN’ HAMMER!!!! Literally bought this thinking I’d be lucky to get them off. Holy Mother of God! It just ripped em off. I say em because I tore em both off and the other one hadn’t been treated at all. Thus the title workhorse. Always been a fan of Dewalt and when I quit making cabinets and woodcarving all the time to pursue a life a wife and 2 kids the budget changed. So last kid out the house and I’m in the shop more. For years I’ve been impressed with the quality and work of Dewalt tools but this thing is a monster.
