This is a great alternative for a natural chew and my pitbull LOVED the flavor. However, for $12 he literally chewed right through the whole thing in about 10 minutes. I like this company and their mission but this particular chew is NOT for aggressive chewers (i.e. Pitbulls)

I have spent quite a bit of money on different product, which could by of enduring interest to my dog (7 months old bull terrier). This is the first one, which really worked. She could not let it go. It has lasted only a few hours of tentative work, so I would not put it on a very enduring, though it is not slacker either. However, as for the taste the product seems to be it . Even better, It has a consistency that can be drilled and used as a tease on a rope. Dogs see well yellow and she follows it with passion. The only thing is that this is not exactly cheap. I didn’t know what to expect from these chews, but oh my goodness, my dog is OBSESSED with them!!! Like he may actually be addicted he loves them that much, lol. I’ve never seen a product like it. I got the small 4-pack for my 4 y.o. 48lb wheaten terrier, and he gets through about half of one within 30 minutes before he’s fully tired out and snoozin’! He gets soooo excited and goofy while chewing on them, just pure joy like a kid in a candy shop, it’s just too cute. Also, being able to microwave the small bits at the end to make a puff/crunchy treat is ingenious! No waste, no choking!! I’ll definitely be buying more! ... show more

My aussie couldn't put this down whenever we gave it to him. Only thing is, it only lasted a week. He's not even a 'heavy' chewer. I'll be getting the larger one next time for sure. Thanks for having this product!

My dog loves to chew….the quality of this seems great, although I don’t have a great base for comparison. That said….the customer service (no issues, just general proactive communication) has been amazing. A few days after getting the yak chew, a “safety” notice came into my email box. I assumed it was being recalled for whatever reason (I guess I am jaded 😂), however it was just the owner PROACTIVELY reaching out to remind me (there was a card included in the box with the Yak chew) that when it gets too small…to microwave it for 45 seconds to turn it into a treat!! We have 3 dogs, and 1 out of the 3 got really (really) bad explosive diarrhea. No prior known allergies or food sensitivities. Otherwise the dogs loved them and after a about half a day 40% of the chew remained. It gives my other dogs bad gas but no change in bowels.

I've ordered a few different brands of yak cheese chew in the past. Devil Dog seems to be more brittle than others - My husky was able to chip off sharp shards of it pretty routinely and easily. Ideally it shouldn't shatter instead of wearing down over time. This means he chewed it up more quickly than usual, too. ... show more

My dog loved this! She’s a pittie lab mix and destroyed it. Maybe lasted 2 hours. I will say it’s the longest lasting chew I’ve found. Collagen sticks and bully sticks etc last half the time so at least this was twice as long. Way too expensive for a weekly treat but good for when company is over or if we need her to stay occupied for a reason. ... show more
