    • Good value, but there are compromises
First of all, it doesn't have touch screen. Probably I wasn't paying enogh attention, but I didn't realized, that this is the buttons only version. So it's my fault to not notice it, but it's so unclear, that even the amazon review form asks me to rate touch funcionality... Still, the decive works well, the advertised functions are working all right. One star minus because of some poor quality solutions. The velcro-like strip around the screen, that supposed to hold the sunshade, is coming of, it's not glued there well enough. (It was dangling about even when I first get the device out of the box.) The foil on the screen couldn't be removed. There was a paper strip, that supposed to peel it of, but it simply split off without removing the foil. I don't dare to try to force it (It sticks there so well, I wasn't even sure if it was meant to come off, I watched a bunch of unboxing videos to find out :) ). On the upside it doesn't hinder visibility. Despite these problems, I'm mostly satisfied with the product. The screen is nice and bright, and the battery consumption is better than I expected. (I go through 3-4 batteries for my Fujifilm x-t3 by the time one 2900 mAh NP-F550 battery is depleted by the monitor.) ... show more

    • Falling apart on delivery and no response from company
There is a black plastic strip running around the perimeter of the screen. This strip could be considered one side of a Velcro attachment. The edge of the sunshade provides the other side of a Velcro attachment. In other words, the strip holds the sun shade in place when attached. This strip on the monitor was already coming off at both ends, and the strip up the side was rolling over. I contacted the company to see if this was covered under warranty. So far I have heard nothing. It won't be a bid deal to glue it back on, but I don't like having to repair something right out of the box. I will admit the screen looks acceptable for the use I bought it for. EDIT**** I am returning unit. I discovered that it drains the battery when turned off. After a couple of days, the battery was dead. As a test, I used a different battery fully charged. It showed 98%, and after about five hours it was down to 88%. Not acceptable for a unit that was powered off. ... show more

I love the Camera Monitor so much! It's a great addition to my equipment because of its high brightness, broad viewing angle, and support for 4K HDMI. For getting beautiful images, the HDR, waveform, and peaking functions are quite helpful. A nice extra is the parasol and tilt arm that are also included. Has all sorts of features i dont understand and cant explain. I am not a photographer. I have a nikon z7ii the issue i have with this camera is the screen articulates but only on 1 axis. So its really only useful behind the camera. If you want a screen to look at if youre in front of the camera you need an auxiliary screen. Thanks desview. Nice economy screen so i can look at myself! The biggest issue is i want it to be a touch screen like the camera has. But it isnt and thats annoying. Also it looks like it will eat batteries.     • A solid field monitor for the price
Didn't see a big need to ad my own pictures as the actual monitor looks exactly like the pics on Amazon. For the price this is a fantastic little monitor. Do keep in mind that this is not a touch screen monitor but also this isn't priced like a touch screen monitor either. The main feature that sets this one apart from all the other around $100 monitors is the brightness. This is a 800 nit monitor. The most brightness you can expect to see from a monitor at this price point is around 500 nits. This feature alone makes this one a good monitor to pick up. Functionality wise this monitor works exactly like all the other field monitors out there at this price point with things like false color, focus peaking, histogram and LUTS among many others. The build quality is mostly plastic but feels fairly solid. Almost all field monitors under $800 or so are going to be plastic so don't let that turn you off from this monitor. I love that they include a nice metal mounting arm vs something like a mini ball head mount that you usually get with these budget priced monitor. Upon arrival, the sunshade velcro was falling apart, it's hard to connect to wireless HDMI, and the battery life is crap. It literally drains without the power being on. Went from fully charged to 67% in about 30 minutes and it doesn't come with the battery. I can't recommend this product in good faith. ... show more
