I purchased this dispenser to use for the sublimation business I am in the middle of setting up. I did read the reviews but purchased in hopes that everything I read was just a fluke. Well, It’s not. It came coated with a powder all over it (my photo was taken after I had wiped a lot of it off but it’s still on there). Also, the roll of tape will only spin around the circle because the circle isn’t the size it says it is. Unless you stuff something between the circle and the roll of tape, it isn’t going to work. So, this dispenser is worthless to me. I can’t comment on if it slides around or stays still when you pull on the tape, because I’m not going to rig my dispenser to try and make it work. And then continue to rig it each time the roll needs changed. That’s not what I paid for. I want a product that does what it says it will do, and fit into the rolls it says it will. Believe the bad reviews. I am not happy, and I don’t need these setbacks. ... show more

Worked great for what I bought it for. I needed a dispenser to put heat resistant tape on. I do a lot of heat transfer vinyl projects and it was a pain to use scissors every time I needed a piece of tape. Having this dispenser made doing things sooooo much faster. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because the roll doesn’t fit snugly on the dispenser. It is fairly loose, but that didn’t affect it in any way from dispensing the tape properly. I can’t speak on the inch size as that is not what I was using. Overall I am very glad a I broke down and got this! ... show more

If your looking for a something to hold your heat resistant tape look no further !! This is great it’s sturdy, and compact it’s also great because when you pull on one of the tapes the other one tape stays where it supposed to it doesn’t slide off to the side and it doesn’t bunch up and try to pull with the other tape you are pulling with if that makes sense. I love the size of it I am always Looking for smaller items also and it’s not huge in Gotti it’s pretty thin and it also has a awesome grip on it so it does not slide when you are using it so if you are doing thing that has to do with heating pressing and you don’t want to fight with your tape any more this is it ... show more

    • Doesn't Fit the Tape Rolls that show up in the "Frequently Bought Together"

I was buying High Temperature Heat Resistant Tape PI Film Insulation Tape Sublimation Dye Mug Electronic Polyimide Tape (3/8" Wide 10mm X 100 Ft 4 Roll) ....and this showed up in the buy together with the check marks to "add all to cart" so one assumes it's compatible and the sizing matches, and although that is absolutely not the case. The Roll is significantly bigger than the wheel it goes on, and is not usable together unless you use something to fill the space. Because it's not worth sending back at this price, and because that tape is a bear to use, not on a dispenser, I used 3 pieces of fairly thick 3M tape to fill the gap between the roll and holder and it still just barely holds it enough to be usable ..... It's a cheapo as well, but then again I expected to get what I paid for, I just also expected it to fit, what it was advertised with ...to fit .... ... show more

Bought to use with my 1" blue painter's tape. Looks nice... it's supposed to have a non-skid bottom but still slides toward me as i pulltape.... I'll have to add something to keep it from sliding but the worst thing about it is the little sawtooth blade where are you rip the tape off... Pitiful!

Love the color, when I open the package there was a powder all over it from whatever is weighting it down inside. I originally bought this for 3” heat tape. The tape fits loose on the wheel. I taped some paper onto the wheel to bulk it up, I’m thinking I’ll add rubber bands to the wheel if the paper causes slippage. I really shouldn’t have to fix the product to make it work but sometimes the hassle of a return isn’t worth it. ... show more

When I lifted the item out of the mailing carton, I was pleasantly surprised by its weight. You need something sturdy and weighted so you can pull the tape while the dispenser stays in place. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about this product. I pointed out that the item looked used and was scuffed up, but really, I don't care about that. I mean, it SHOULD be new, but I would not have returned it just because of that. However... the spool that holds the tape in place is 1/8" too small. The tapes just dangles on it, and depending on how you pull the tape, it will fall off the spool. If that wasn't bad enough, I received the email from the seller. THAT ALONE should be the only reason not to purchase this product. You're welcome. :-) Dear customer, Recently, it was found that many customers complained that the product Desktop Tape Dispenser Adhesive Roll Holder...was leakage and product damage. The powder is cement. You can wipe it off with a wet towel or clothing . Please don't worry that the leaked powder will harm your body. Excellent! Seriously saves me a ton of time! It’s well made, the same weight as my other much more expensive version, and is great quality! The seller messaged me even before I got it to apologize and say some customers had some dust on their product tape dispenser due to the weighted part being filled with a type of concrete mix and cleaning the dust off was missed in the manufacturing process somehow. The seller offered to replace it even before I got it! It was not needed as I had no dust and if I did I would have just wiped it off and moved on with my day!
