First the light came USPS with the side of the box caved in yet the light fixture was undamaged as it's packed well. As I unpacked to check the pieces parts the yellow candle sticks stuck out. No way! Pics don't show yellow sticks. Now looking at 3 options. Contact the seller to see if white sticks are available, return or in my case I was lucky that 1990s brass fixture I was replacing had enough white sticks for this 6 light and the 9 light version for the dining room. You can buy the white sticks on Amazon @ $10/dz. But I've never seen yellow sticks. Second issue was arranging the 6 spokes. They come folded together 3 on a side. After unfolding them in 6 spokes I had to remove the top cover, loosen all the spokes then twist the top so the spokes would align vertically. Chain is painted so use tools that are plastic coated to open and close a link or best solution is to buy black quick connect links. Overall the quality is good and the boss is happy with the product. Finish is truly wrought iron not bronze which is what we wanted. We also bought the 9 candle version for the dining room. It needed no adjustment. Know that it isn't really wrought iron as well. ... show more

I would give this a 3.5 star rating for the price. The fixture is lovely and a bit heavy, as if it is well made though, not excessively so. BUT, the yellow plastic candle sticks with the large black printed specifications on them made me think something was missing. Surely, there is some sort of cover for these? Nope. That is the way it comes. I will now have to do some sort of craft project by covering them or painting them to get this to look 'finished'. It is a shame as it really is a nice fixture if not for that. ... show more

So much of what you buy now turns out to be pretty in the picture, but cheap crap when you receive it. Not this chandelier. It's gorgeous, solid and appears to be very well put together! The finish is satin black and has no scratches, dings, dents or mars of any kind. I am planning to paint the candlesticks because the color is a weird choice, but I knew that before I bought it and it will be easy to spray paint them white. Hanging in our dining room, it looks like a very expensive and elegant light fixture and is a focal point without being too overpowering. I put incandescent 60 watt bulbs in and when I dim the lights, they look very similar to candle flames, yet produce enough light to create just the right ambience. This light fixture came with yellow candle stick sleeves. You can't tell from the pics. Color is not an option. You can buy white replacements on Amazon $10/dz. I was fortunate the fixture being replaced had the correct number of white sleeves. Definitely looks better with white IMO. May try the yellow though. Overall it's a well made light fixture. Color is perfect for my application. Not solid black but close. Mine was shipped USPS aka 800 pound gorilla. Box was beat up but the packing inside saved the fixture. Chain is painted so advise using black quick connect links else the paint is going to flake off. Update 3/3/21: Tried the yellow and they look good so kept them. 5 star ... show more

I was a little hesitant because of two other reviews stating that they received damaged items, but I'm quite pleased with the chandelier that I received. Packaging was good. The chandelier actually folds up, so it is shipped in a box that's not as wide as you'd think. Installation was similar to that of other light fixtures that I've put up. I do recommend having an extra hand when you install, though I did install mine alone. I compared this to others that had a similar design, and this was definitely the best value. The "candles" are somewhat yellower than they appear in the picture. By the way, 9 60-watt bulbs are very bright! I installed a dimmer switch to tone them down a bit - though I do like having the option of turning them to full brightness if I need the light. I did want to use LEDs, but they are both expensive and ugly, so I'm going with incandescents for now. ... show more

I ordered a pair of these for my entry way to replace some dated sconces. Unfortunately the first two did not match as there were some differences in the scrollwork. There was also a delay in receiving that second sconce. However, replacement sconce was received quickly and is a match. I really like the rustic look of these sconces, but was a bit disappointed in the construction. It was difficult to get the “candles” straight in the fixture and they are not as sturdy as other similar fixtures I have owned. This is the main reason I only gave 3 stars. I did add the glass globes to soften the look; a lucky thrift store find! ... show more
